I was just doodling some pokemon recently, something I haven't done for a while so I thought I would share (:

Breakdancing pelipper as requested by someone, and quilava for someone from another site, not my best :c

A speedpaint of lapras, not something I usually do, and a quick sketch of mightyena:

Suicune I did in the oekaki at suta-raito about two years ago, and Raikou done about three years ago so it could be improved upon:

Most of my other stuff is pretty old and too embarassing to show xP

Are they? I've only heard of them referred to as the legendary dogs or beasts, but thanks, it took a bit longer than it should have for a sketch though, I'm so out of practice D:

Basically, copy copy copy (and I mean official art, don't steal from others just to be clear =x). I just copied the pokemon straight out of my handbooks when I was younger. It also helps to sometimes draw the animals they're based off of, just to get the basic idea of anatomy. But really, you just have to practice. I've been drawing for ages and if I showed you a time line of my drawings, you'd definitely see the improvement I've made, especially during the times I draw more often

Wow, you really have a great way of shading, my favourite it the Quilava, it has a very nice pencil-shaded look over it.
Your animal-proportions are very good as well and I like the more realistic look to the very stylized Pokemon.

No actually, I just started university, doing my bachelor of fine arts :) I want to be a concept artist for a gaming company or perhaps animation
