My Shinx is weird on MD2...

Hi everyone :) I was wondering if you could explain something to me. I recruted a female Shinx on amp plains and at the bottom of the screen it often says things like "shinx picked up orange gummi" or "shinx picked up poison jab" now I thought that was the other shinx going around as mine was not even on an item but when I checked my treasure bag all the items it said shinx picked up were there!

Shinx does not have pickup or the like (my starter does) and this only happens on amp plains. What is going on? Its good but im not even picking anything up!

Its just a glitch? cool :) I thought I just had a messed up Shinx with a hiddden pick-up skill instead of its usual abilities :)

Is Shinx the third member of the team? If so, maybe the Shinx picked up items that are near the leader. Because the third member walks like this if the leader walks west:

12 (0 is blank. The other numbers represent the respective order of members.) In other words, the third member is usually diagonal to the leader.

Let's say now there's an item, X, at one step directly south of the leader. Now it can look like this:

If the leader kept going west, the third member will pick up the item because it follows the leader and walks west as well. So there will be a message saying "third member picked up X" if this is the scenario and if your game isn't glitched.

I am not sure how to check if this is a glitch. Maybe you can check the ability page of Shinx. Or check that Shinx's normal abilities, Intimidate and Rivalry, work.

The PickUp ability only work upon arrival of a new floor, before anyone moves. If the message shows up more than once on a floor, or shows up after you moved, then I am sure your Shinx doesn't have PickUp.

No normally I have meowth as number 1, cyndaquil as two, Kabuto as three and shinx as number 4

Umm...I have never seen that, my meowth picked up foe-hold orb when I entered the battle against dusknoir though

I love Monster Houses. All those free experience points and items. And as long as there's nothing that has the Lightning Rod ability, Discharge gets the job done pretty quickly, especially when coupled with Agility.

Anyway...as for your Shinx........are you using AR?

I dont own AR and i think they are wrong, why cheat? its not worth it if you cheat
