The only umbreon set that really works. Swagger is setting up umbreon to fail.

    EDIT: Gliscor has sandstream?

why does Magmortar have confuse ray? Too risky, and it is the worst status condition. focus Punch makes it a nice skarmbliss killer.

Actually, WoW is a nice move for magmortar, as it gives it a chance of survival. I'm not big on choice specs magmortar.

Yeah, WoW and Give it Life Orb or Wise Glasses or something, just not Specs and Confuse Ray

EDIT : HAHA Swamperv, nice nickname XD

Moving on...gliscor needs defensive moves...all attack moves aren't so great on it. give it roost maybe, and SR is a nice option.

Yeah...I'd give it sash and SD...the most effective set IMO.

Oh yeah, I didn't realize that Choice Specs would fail with Confuse Ray *Slaps own face* Currently, it knows Lava Plume and Solarbeam. Flamethrower is going to replace Lava Plume, should I stick with Solarbeam? It has better type coverage than Psychic, but it takes two turns. Unless I had sunny day, but then if they switched to a ground pokemon, and I switched to water, I'd be dead... Also I don't like WoW on Magmortar, because it has Flame Body which already gives the foe a 30% chance of getting a burn if they use physical moves. And about my Umbreon, I preffered Swagger, because they cause themselves more damage, and If I have Toxic and Subsitute already in use, they're attack would merely defeat the substitute, and that's only if they're using physical moves, O_o

30 Percent Chance isnt good, WoW is 100% burn chance if it hits, you shouldnt be relying on 30 %, also if you WoW them, then you have a chance to survive an EQ.

Also if you have the time and patients, HP Ice could also go on Specs Magmortar.

Problems with your theories: For magmortar, it can't take a hit, no matter how fat it is. That means solarbeam is no. Flame body never works, and if it does, magmortar will be dead because any move that could activate flame body will OHKO it...except for tackle...

WoW allows it to survive longer...which is a very nice perk. Since there is no better substitute, except maybe focus punch, I advise you use it.

As for umbreon, it has 65 base speed. You use swagger, but you've already been hit. Even if the attack misses, there's a 50%chance the foe OHKOs you...the other 50% it will hurt itself, THEN you can set up your sub. Still, your strategy relies far too much on luck. Umbreon is useless in 4th gen anyways, the set I posted is, unfortunately, the only way you can really use it.

But a Magmortar could easily be killed in the same turn as WoW, so I prefer 4 attacking moves on a Magmortar. I think I might Focus Sash Weavile and Life Orb Magmortar, or completely change Magmortar to my Shiny Porygon-Z with 400 Sp.Attack!

Anti-Pop ~ You kinda just told me something was bad and then told me to do it. You said Magmortar can't take a hit, so no solarbeam, and then suggeseted Focus Punch? Isn't that also a two turn move.

405 is the max. Also, on a bl pokemon, all attacking moves is suicide. It's like jumping of a ten-story building. They have high buildings in what, NYC? If so, it's like jumping off one of them.

Be smart here Jimmyray...give magmortar some speed...and WoW gives it survival. As for focus punch, it is a one turn move, otherwise there would be no use for it since there's brick break.

For magmortar, HP, focus punch, and WoW are your only good options. You'r gonna have to choose one.

You have to Focus before you can punch... 2 turn move...

With Umbreon, you Bp the Sub. =/

See, focus punch ALWAYS goes first Jimmyray. You "tighten your focus." Then, if you don't get hit, you attack at the end of the same turn. That's a fact.
