  • Any Fire Pokémon makes for a good counter to opposing Amoonguss, like Chandelure or Heatran, whose Speed stats are ideal for both Trick Room and Tailwind, though your team is focused on the former:

    Chandelure:
    -Heat Wave
    -Shadow Ball
    -Trick Room
    -Protect
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 252 HP/252 SAtk/4 SDef
    Item: Focus Sash/Fire Gem/Life Orb
    Ability: Flash Fire

    Heatran:
    -Heat Wave/Eruption
    -Earth Power
    -Hidden Power (Ice)
    -Protect
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 252 HP/252 SAtk/4 SDef
    Item: Shuca Berry/Chople Berry
    Ability: Flash Fire

I'll go with Heatran because I already have a ghost in Jellicent. Also because its Fire/Steel typing is intriguing. Thanks :)

well what little i kow about trick room teams is that most of the time is a good bet to have 3 or 4 trick room users

  • Semi-correct in singles, liable to get you killed in VGC doubles. Two at max and even then it's a bit iffy.

    @OP
Have you thought about using Metagross? It's faster than most of your team sure, but it's usually slower than most of your opponent's team. Useful at absorbing dragon and ice attacks, and usually bulky enough to absorb just about everything else twice.

Brave Metagross @ Occa Berry/Normal Gem
    EV: 252 HP|252 Att|4 Def
    ~ Meteor Mash
    ~ Bullet Punch
    ~ Earthquake / Explosion
    ~ Protect / Explosion

Normal Gem is a bit weird yeah, but if you can predict when an opponent WON'T use Protect or Wide Guard, you can possibly take out 2 Pokemon at once. Risky, but it's hard for the opponent to recover if you protect correctly.
