Am I the first in here not to like compliments?

It's something one is expected to acknowledge, much like when a mother tells their child to say please after the child has already asked for something — it's just another pointless and annoying little thing to do in life.

I mean, won't you feel bad that you spent about let's say..an hour putting make-up and stuff and you don't get a single compliment.
 
Compliments make me feel warm inside, so yes. :3
 
I like them as long as they're needed, like if I got told I looked pretty when I knew I looked ugly, I'd hate it.
 
I love compliments. I just beam up and smile when someone gives me a compliment, encouraging the complimenter to give me more. ^_^

I enjoy getting compliments here and there. But if it's sucking up or any other fake-ment, then please, shut up.
 
Usually I don't like compliments. People give them out of politeness so often I have a tendency to brush them off as untrue.
 
I don't really like compliments. It depends who it comes from, but most times I get all shy and feel like I have to compliment back. I like to hear compliments from a few people like my girlfriend and sometimes my friends, but otherwise it makes me feel awkward. Not to mention, I suck at giving compliments so I can never really respond with a compliment back.
