Name Changing Issue ;D

I think that as long as they keep to the same rules as regular members that its alright.. Although a specific person that has recently been promoted has changed his name.. {Sorry David..} Almost didn't recognize him!

My original name was Night_Hawke, then I changed it too Night Hawke and since that technically was a spelling mistake I was allowed to change it to Night-Kun.. I don't remember exactly when I changed it, but I know its been the required six months.. If I can find the thread, I might consider changing it to just 'Night' as thats what everyone calls me anyway.. Anyway, not the point. Point is as long as they follow the six months rule I don't see a problem with it, but changing it once a week (if they really follow the five day rule -_-;;) then thats just too confusing.. Even if everyone knew that that person changed his/her name..

I personally don't like the 6 month waiting period...I mean, SIX MONTHS?? That's a long freakin time, cause ALL of PC has only been around for 6 times that amount. One month would be fine...3 weeks even...

Eh..? Dear, I'm not saying that I should get privileges you silly goose. :/ I'm happy as hell with my new name :p

I mean that I see some members (4 months and higher) who'd like to get their name changed but some mods still refuse to change their names just because they are to follow that frigging month rule. I just think they've been active enough to at least get that small privilege to get their name changed earlier like the preators. :/

But hey, I'm just saying, I'm not complaining that we should have privileges I really wouldn't give a flying bird about it. Just suggesting :/ lol

Nah, that's not really fair. x.x; I don't know the exact reason we have that cap, as I wasn't involved in the decision, but I daresay it's for a good reason. If they want to change their names within less than six months then they ought to have thought more carefully about the name they picked.

And the staff only changed a few days early.

Personally, I think a month or so would be the optimal time. People changed aves and sigs all the time...

Reply to Kylie-Chan:: Some other forums got that name change thing but for just 2 months. Some members would get really sick of their names and be disappointed at that 6 months thing. o_O; It must be frustrating for them to wait half a year so that they can get their name changed.

It's just that I also find it a bit unfair for the normal members that staff members get to change their names early. I'd be pretty pissed if I were one of those ever-name-changing n00bs ad saw that mods were getting special privileges. o_o

I personally think that only a month is WAAYY too short.
._. Like.. I always get mixed up about who's changed their name and whatnot (because they never state that they changed their name in their sig or anything.. so yeah)
@@ So if everyone was changing their name every month it'd get really really confusing ._.

I like it kept at 6 months~ 6 months is good~
