I just started pearl a few hours ago, though I had a few of them in Ruby.

Zero. Never ever seen a wild shiny in the GBA/DS generation. And I hate chaining so I'm okay without them.

In Crystal, I hatched a Shiny Elekid and I still have him to this day! :)

in gold, a shiny gyrados (duh) and a shiny giraffarig. (but that doesn't count)

in diamond, a shiny barboach and a shiny geodude.

I have caught 5 or 6 shiny Geodudes and I hatched a shiny Mr. Mime ^_^
I have loads of other shinies I got through trading as well.

I once found a shiny Ponyta in the wild, and I named him Shadow. I was so confused, I thought he was a special type of ice Ponyta. I trained him to level 80 something, but then I got tired of him, because I thought he was ugly as a shiny Rapidash. xD So I traded him for a shiny Jirachi! =D

I have a lot of other shiny Pokemon from trades, but I don't think everyone wants me to list them.

u dont really "hunt" 4 them, they come 2 u.

come to me? not necessarily.... it's all in chance, and I've heard that chaining pokes up with the radar does increase your chance of finding 'em.
