Naruto and Geass put on Hiatus, Bleach gains more run time on US TV

What, when they don't even advertise their anime while running Robot Chicken, Metalapocalypse (sp, but i really don't give a crap) and those other retarded shows (except for Family Guy), in the hope that their anime get so unpopular that they can actually drop it?

They do advertise their anime block as a whole. I saw the commercial last week I think, looked awesome because AS' anime commercials always looks awesome. Also the fact that AS airs Cowboy Bebop regularly and FLCL every once in awhile means their anime blocks will never become unpopular.

OFF TOPIC: I wonder what channel will get Soul Eater once it's dubbing is completed.

Why do you hate AS? They show great anime series, and there are never any hiatuses, with exception of Bleach (1-2 years ago) & Code Geass R2.

So much hate for Adult Swim. I actually like them because they provide us with a lot of amazing anime over the years. I'm a bit sad they are going on hiatus but what can we do about it? What do we know anyways?

True. But you're forgetting that if they truly want it to succeed, they should commercialize it more. They don't commercialize it as much as they should, IMO.

It could probably have something to do with the economy, or it could just be that Bandai/Viz is a group of idiots is behind on the dub and needs to catch up

Both ways, it's less likely to be the fault of TV stations, but rather the guys doing the dubbing

My guess is they are a group of idiots who need to stop being lazy and release the episodes.

I'll admit it, your right, they do have good points, but, it's like I said, if Naruto's contract expired... then we'd might as well assume that it's been canceled.

it means someone else can pick it up or the contract will be renewed. I doubt viz will want to lose a big proportion of viewers over something so small

Naruto's target audience are old enough to buy the DVDs and possibly watch online so I doubt they're that worried.
