Loads of MC's die at the end of the series, I can pick at least 3 off of your list from memory.

Geass and Death Note as well as every main character constantly getting killed in Higurashi.

I think if written well an end where they both die could be the best end (as long as he leaves Hinata a child that is).

I think Geass was an open ended ending, they wanted to leave it up to the fans if he was dead or not. I remember a bunch of people were speculating he was the guy with CC on the wagon at the end of Geass. And Light(Kira) was not much of a protagonist, yes he was one of the main characters along with L and Near but he keep off as quite the antagonist. But yeah Main Characters do die, another example being Char Counter Attack were Amuro and Char supposedly died. And in Gundam 00 Neil Dylandy aka Lockon Stratos I died at the end of 00.

I don't foresee Naruto dieing to be honest. Or at least before he unites everyone.

I guess he could end the "cycle of hate" in the ninja world in a similar way all of the individual people he's "saved" most other people (Neji and Gaara most notably).

Also, Sasuke is the embodiment of hate and darkness so I guess literally killing that won't literally end the cycle. Meh, we shall have to wait and see.

Why would that be? It there a super awesome party there (=? Naruto is the Child of Prophecy after all so he could united all the Nations and would be a Super Kage or something like that. I think he will at least be a Kage, since Kishi has been pushing it seen the beginning. I would be sad if we didn't get to get his dream come to fruition. Although even if Tsunade dies I could see somebody like Kakashi or Shikaku to become Hokage until Naruto matures a bit more. Also I wonder if Naruto will become more broken and develop Renningan? I mean him and Nagato are both from the Uzumaki clan and their clan is relatives to the Senju Clan meaning they are distant relatives to the Sage of Six Paths as is Sasuke.

My thoughts on that actually are because of the "Child of Prophecy" tag. Naruto will die for the sins of the ninja world, the sins being the darkness that Sasuke has slowly but surely becoming the embodiment of....in fact saving him by dying could be a much more symbolistic way to end. Probably won't go anything like that but whatever.

As for Naruto gaining the Rinnegan, I could see that happening and it would look pretty cool. Sage mode + Demon Fox's Cloak (new version) + Eye hax + some sort of Minatoesque cloak = cool

Naruto with Rinnegan (and of course his waifu with Byakugan backing him up) against the Sharingan would be a very nice final battle.

That would probably make him too strong. I mean, he has the Kyubi in him, Sage mode makes him even stronger, Rasengan and then Rinnegan? That would be kill against any opponent?

Rinnegan controls chakra flow right? If so, can't he just reverse it in some people and kill them like that?

He kind of just uses that giant monster thing now mixed with his electricity attacks. I have to admit seeing him fight danzo with shuriken and stuff was refreshing, they never use them any more unless they're made out of chakra and explode.

Ok so. I just finished watching all 220 episodes of Naruto. Whatever happen to Saskue ochia. They never found him. Will I find this out in Naruto Shippendue the new one.

He was with Orchimaru. After the battle at the Village End it was just fillers. They will show Sasuke around 40ish episode. And of course in the intro with the Ninetails saying he eyes look like that of Madara Uchiha.

How much of the anime is actually fillers? Last time I checked it was about 30% of it, but now it could have changed :x

Anyone like the original Naruto better than Shippuden?

I just try and stick with key battles and Akatsuki skirmishes. Basically if it does not directly deal with the main story I don't care for it much.

I only watch the major battles, I don't really watch the rest. Altho, some of the battles are a bit different than the manga. :/

The training is also interesting to watch as well. Like when Naruto was learning Wind manipulation with Asuma. And what has he really did with his Wind since... Outside of Wind Shruiken which is like his only wind based technique that really lacks originality since it is just another variation of Rasengan which is over used.

I...don't remember that.

All I know is that Rasengan is too overused, imo. He should learn a new technique or something :/

When I saw the wind bullets Danzo was using I was thinking(why the hell can't Naruto get something like that). He is the main character give him some new moves instead of giving him more power ups.
