I think he was in the Adventures at Sea arc, the one with all filler and Naruto and Yamato and Aoba and Guy and Killer Bee. It was the only arc I've ever skipped because it was stupid. An entire filler arc on a boat.

I love how they act like they are going to show Izanami, then the jump into Kabuto backstory. They seem to do this time to time, like when they introduce us to a battle then go to another one not too long after. Regardless I am interested too see how Kabuto became what he is today.

Even when the series is called Naruto XD. I could understand if it was called Konoha but his name is in the title. Idk I always felt they have focused on the others more then the title character but that could be me.

Kind of agree, this better last one or two more chapters tops or they are stalling way to long with his back story. He does not deserve 4-5 chapters of back story imo. Also this does for me is prove how Danzo is more of a douche and how Orochimaru manipulated Kabuto at an early age. I didn't really get the whole encounter with his "mother" though. Maybe some jutsu Orochimaru cast on her to make her forget Kabuto. Then as she dies take advantage of the situation and take him under his wing. Whatever the case may be lets get back to the fight already. If there is any back story I want to hear about its Itachi and Sasuke as kids or just Itachi period.

Mmm, I dunno, Kabuto's back story is cool, it was just poorly placed. Hell, any new content is poorly placed in this period of manga, where they have 4-5 things going at once. Good work there, Kishimoto.
If there's back stories i'd like to hear, though, it's probably the Jinchuurikis. Only one of them was really explained, and it was filler. :(.

I don't even care about his backstory; I just want to see the battles. So much stalling, but still, I guess it's interesting to see how Kabuto became the person he is now. Although I do not feel sympathy for him at all, even when that nun-person didn't remember him. x__x

So that last one was kinda cool, right? Itachi totally bagged Kabuto out for being a copying jerk. Pretty much got rid of the whole here's-my-backstory-feel-sorry-for-me-now concept. Pretty cool fight though, I guess.

Seems the Kabuto story is over finally. Itachi handled Kabuto rather well aside from him losing vision in one of his eyes due to Izanami. Pretty badass though with Izanami trapping Kabuto in an endless loop of events. Kind of reminds me of what Kurama did to Elder Toguro in Yu Yu Hakusho were he had him trapped forever in a reoccurring scene of him trying to kill Kurama and never could. Wonder how it will turn out next chapter, such as will Kabuto be relevant any longer?

Tbh I feel rather disappointed by the fight between Sasuke/Itachi and Kabuto, was more interested to know how the Kages were dealing with Madara at the time actually but whatever leads up to Naruto vs Tobi sooner as that's looking to be the big climax to the war now apprently.

I think learning from his mistakes rather then him dieing is a better way too go about it. I'd much rather see Tobi die though. I am more disappointed with the overall fighting then this particular battle. If this is indeed the end of the war then they didn't do anywhere near an adequete job showing us the fights. I mean what happened to our Kakashi vs. Swordsman fight!!! Goes from what fight to another with out a clear conclusion which is what I don't like. I actually prefer listening to Itachi wisdom then fighting. Cause he seems like the most insightful character. Its just so sad too see a guy like him die. I hope in this new Ninja World Naruto is supposedly going to establish that Itachi gets a lot of honorable mention cause he seems like a true hero too me. Hell I'd even love to see Naruto and Sasuke christen a great statue in Itachi honor to symbolize the bond between the village and Uchiha.

Oh dear it seems that I haven't been catching up with my Naruto for a long time now. Geez, makes me want to finish it before school comes. I should stop lying to myself that I can't do it. Oh the horror! Sometimes playing games deceives me so much that I end up not doing anything at all. I want to get revenge to those games, I'm going to massacre all the players online and spill some blood. I will unleash my bunny fist of fury and turn the environment into complete turmoil.

I also want to read the manga because it seems so intriguing based from your "spoilers". I do want to see Naruto vs Tobi though.
