so im quite new to competitive battling (only a month of learning) and would like some advice, my team is as follows
    Scoliped-Lead
    Shiny Clawitzer
    Shiny Banette
    Scrafty
    Pinsir
    Noviern

For future reference, post your team with their items, natures, EVs, moves, and abilities.

As for your team, here's some stuff:

    1) Scolipede w/Black Sludge
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 252 HP, 34 HP, 224 Speed
Moves: Megahorn, Baton Pass, Swords Dance, Protect/Poison Jab/Earthquake
    Ability: Speed Boost
Since Game Freak decided to grace Scolipede with Speed Boost and an extra 10 base Attack, it now has use as a good Baton Passer. The idea is to send out Scolipede, use Swords Dance, then Baton Pass those boosts to a teammate, giving them +2 to Attack and +1 to Speed, which every physical attacker loves. The EV spread is to ensure its survival so it can pass the boosts.

    2)Noivern w/Choice Specs:
    Nature: Timid/Modest
    EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Sp.Defense
Moves: Draco Meteor, Dark Pulse, Flamethrower/Boomburst, Hurricane
    Ability: Infiltraitor
Noivern is the living definition of "hit hard and fast". It has high speed, and with Choice Specs equipped, its average Sp.Attack is boosted to powerful levels.

    3)Scrafty w/Leftovers
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp.Defense, 4 Attack
Moves: Bulk Up, Drain Punch/High Jump Kick, Payback/Poison Jab, Rest
    Ability: Shed skin
The idea here is to power up it with Bulk Ups, then whack stuff with its attacks. Rest and Shed Skin make a semi-reliable form of recovery, helped by Leftovers. Poison jab can be used to hit Fairies if need be.

    4) (Mega) Pinsir w/Pinsirite
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defense
Moves: Close Combat, Swords Dance, Quick Attack/Stone Edge/X-Scissor, Return
    Ability: Aerilate
Pinsir isn't worth using unless you use its mega form, and this is apparently what Smogon reccomends.

And I have no idea what people do with Banette or Clawizter. Hopefully someone else will come along and add to the conversation...
