    I'm currently playing Diamond and I've already chosen 5 Pokemon for my team to get through the game.
    I don't want you to tell me your opinions of my current team, just give me suggestions on the final Pokemon.

    Current Team
    1. Monferno - Lv. 26
    2. Budew - Lv. 26 <----- WHY WON'T YOU EVOLVE!
    3. Pachirisu - Lv. 26
    4. Chingling - Lv. 27
    5. Will be Sneasel...
    6. You decide!

    I'm currently in Veilstone City, but haven't defeated Maylene yet.
     
    Budew evolves to Roselia via friendship evolution.

    For number six, get a flying type pokemon like Staraptor, so get a starly (which can be found at Route 201, 202, 203, 204, 209, 212, and Lake Verity.)


    Also I suggest replacing Chingling with Bronzor (It'll evolve to Bronzong at LV.33.)
    And for Pachirisu, I'd get Luxray instead.

    Zathura - I know that Budew evolves via friendship, it's just that my previous Budew evolved a lot quicker.
    I'm not going to change any of the Pokemon I already have...
    I don't want Staraptor, kthx.

    Shadow Magikarp - Nope, not going to change Chingling for Bronzong. I hate Bronzong =D
    Staraptor is ugly =P
    Also, I'm trying to beat the game without teaching my Pokemon any TM's.
     
    Drop Pachirisu and Chingling for more reliable pokemon of the same type, like ralts or shinx. bronzor works good too. Everything else looks ok, staraptor in the 6th spot will be fine. If you don't like staraptor, pretty much anything will go ok...
     
    Maybe you'd buy this.1. Monferno2. Roselia (Get it near Hearthome. You'd take ages to make it evolve. Trust me, I tried. pwns ground, rock, water, bug AND grass itself. needed in the 5th gym)3. Shinx (I have it in my Plat. char. Turns out to be VERY useful. pwns water, which you need in the 4th gym.)4. Bronzor (pwns ice, fighting, poison; in mt. coronet, route 206; you need it for the 7th gym)5. Sneasel6. Gastrodon (it pwns fire and electricity. but you don't need it so soon. the 8th gym?)
     
    I know that I can beat the game with a party of absolutely any Pokemon, as long as they're trained well.
    I'm not changing any of my current Pokemon, if anyone else suggests that I'm going to ignore you.

    Just tell me some of you're favourite Pokemon that are obtainable around this point in the game.

    Don't worry... I'll have a much better group of Pokemon when I get into competitive battling.
     
    You're Budew isn't the only stubborn one! Lol.

    Anyway, Kricketune, Magikarp or... Actually Gastrodon or Drifblim. One of those.

    I see that it is obvious you like cute looking pokemon...am I right?
    Well, as for your sixth pokemon I suggest you get a Lumineon (check out serebii.net to find out where you can catch it), also you could even get a Mothim, it's last four attacks are pretty good plus you won't have to teach it TM's...all you'll need to get is a boy burmy, and my last suggestion would be a stunky...so, does any of this help???
     
    Definitely go with Drifloon/Driflblim! They're fun and a good typing, you can test out a Baton Pass version of it to work for your team (which can be enhanced once you reach competitive play.) Or just use the little balloon ghost normally and it will be a great asset to your team.
     
    Pick Raichu, he did me wonders.

    Nevermind, try to get snorlax, he would be a great asset.

    I would definitely put a water-type in there, they can be quite helpful along the road.
    Your choices are pretty much between Gyarados, Floatzel, Gastradon, or Lumineon.
    As Sceptile has already pointed out, you can get a Lumineon if you want to go with the cute factor. You get get one around Route 209 with a Good Rod if I remember correctly.
     
    Since you have no flying types that would be necessary as well as a water type such as gyrados or Gastrodon.

    I've decided to choose Gyarados, because when I was trying to get through Sapphire... it was Gyarados and Sharpedo that did it for me.

    And why do I need a Flying-type exactly? They are strong against... Grass, Fighting and Bug.
    Those types can easily be taken down by my Monferno and Chingling.
     
    I don't think Flying is required, and for the 6th, either Gastrodon or Gyrados. Good luck!

    Yeah, um... speaking of S&M. We don't allow RMTs that are ingame. :x Really, as long as you work with the proper types and such, anything can work. You're free to discuss such with people over VM and elsewhere, but they're generally not accepted here in S&M, since it's for competitive battling. And it looks like you have a fair amount of people already willing to help you out, send them a message. :D Sorry, locking this~
