Well, I got emerald a while back, and I had a cute team with the pokemon I want and I was at the frontier, but my pokemons stats were horrible, I focused more on wanting a pokemon than actually looking at their nature.

So I am wanting to start over. The Pokemon I know i want for SURE are:

    Sceptile and Absol, possibly Flygon.

    Anyone want to help?

A good Pokemon would be Salamence or Metagross but you need your National Pokedex. Why don't you get a Shedinja or a Camerupt.

Yeah Shedinja would be good. Are you sure you need a National Dex for Metagross and Salamence? They're both Hoenn Pokemon. Can't you just trade them from R/S?

Sheddy is a terrible pokemon unless it's in ubers, and Camerupt isn't much better.

Good team wants walls, sweepers, etc. Anything works ingame.

The Frontier does require a bit of planning since the AI isn't totally limited the way it is in-game. A good Frontier team will consist of a special attacker, a physical attacker, and some sort of wall. I won easily with the following trio:

    Salamence
    Alakazam
    Milotic

Salamence is a great physical attacker, Alakazam equally great at special attacks, and Milotic is one of the best wall-impersonators out there. You can substitute Flygon for Salamence (as long as it is a physical attacker), Gengar/Gardevoir for Alakazam, and Vaporeon/Umbreon/Blissey for Milotic with equal success.
