Hey guys. I've been playing Pokemon Firered since late 2004, and now I've painstakingly built up an elite force of Pokemon in my game (Without cheats). They are lvl 100 now and I have about 18 of them now and a few more in training. The lvl 100s are:

    1. Alakazam: Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunderpunch and Psychic (Bred)
    2. Articuno: Ice Beam, Fly, Mind Reader and Sheer Cold
    3. Dragonite: Wing Attack, Dragon Dance, Outrage, Thunderbolt
    4. Groudon: Earthquake, Eruption, Solarbeam and Hyper Beam
    5. Hitmonlee: Brick Break, Brick Break, Endure and Reversal (Speed at 253)
    6. Houndoom: Flamethrower, Faint Attack, Sunny Day and Solarbeam
    7. Kingdra: Surf, Hydro Pump, Dragonbreath and Ice Beam (Bred)
    8. 2 Kyogre: Water Spout, Hydro Pump, Thunder and Ice Beam
    9. Metagross: Meteor Mash, Metal Claw, Psychic and Hyper Beam
    10. Mewtwo: Focus Punch, Flamethrower, Psychic and Recover
    11. Milotic: Surf, Ice Beam, Refresh and Recover (Tanker)
    12. Raikou: Spark, Thunderbolt, Thunder and Crunch
    13. 2 Rayquaza:
    A. Dragon Claw, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower and Crunch (High att and sp. att)
    B. Dragon Claw, Outrage, Fly and Blizzard
    14. Regice: Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Zap Cannon and Hyper Beam (Sp. def tanker)
    15. Shedinja: Toxic, Confuse Ray, Shadow Ball and Fury Cutter
    16. Steelix: Earthquake, Iron Tail, Double Edge and Crunch
    17. Suicune: Surf, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam and Bubblebeam
    18. Umbreon: Shadow Ball, Faint Attack, Psychic and Moonlight

The following are potential lvl 100s which I'm training:
    19. Crobat: Shadow Ball, Poison Fang, Sludge Bomb and Fly (Speed possibly 325 at lvl 100)
    20. Breloom: Brick Break, Sky Uppercut, Dynamic Punch and Giga Drain (Attack possibly 310)
And others still in lower levels......

Some of my Pokemon's moves are also a little... pathetic. I welcome all useful and constructive comments on what moves should I replace with and also 2 v 2 battle combos. Thanks :)

No such thing as the ultimate team, every team has a weakness, and sorry for the stupid question but did you EV/IV train them all?

Oh yes, very nice format. [/sarcasm] Post it like this:

    Pokemon @ Item **Nickname (Optional)
    Trait: [Instert Trait here]
    EV's:
    Nature
    - Move #1
    - Move #2
    - Move #3
    - Move #4. Also, who cares about the Level? This cluttered up the Post.
Edit: @ Lumine, I think he meant 255. Which nobody EV Trains up to. 252 / 252 / 4 is the most common spread.

1.) Thou shalt never clutter up Post. Never.
2.) Thou shalt post his Team in a readable Format.
3.) Thou shalt use NB or Netbattle, to post his teams in the correct format.https://www.pokecommunity.com/threads/62784
4.) The end. Thou shalt accept the advice.

    5. Thou shalt post a TEAM, not a collection of Pokemon and get others to make one for you

This really bugs me about a lot of RMT topics, it's more a Choose My Team.

There is a 'Request a team' sticky for such topics, no sense cluttering up the main area..

Pick 6 (or less) Pokemon. And don't include useless details like stats and level. All we need are the Hold Items, Nature, EVs, and Attacks of those Pokemon.

A few more things - two moves of one type? bad. Hyper beam moves? bad. Fly? bad. Special moves on phys sweepers? bad.
Some of the movesets are ok but if you intend to send the over to DP you are in trouble.
When you said that you maxed EVs by battling, does that mean your fought random people until your EVs were maxed? Or did you actually EV Train?
Oh and don't use Ubers in Competetive play.
Sorry if that seemed negative, but i needed to clarify a few things.

    In a nutshell......

there is definitely no such thing as an legitimate ultimate team.... because anyone can use strong pokemon..... it's about how you use what you've got....

battles are about finding checks and balances in your team admist an opponent.

2 people can have the same team, and without critical hits or moves that work via chance, in a straight up tactical fight, the better tactician will win more frequently.

Look at Marriland's team... it's a simple, predictable, formulatic team, but his sharp wits and understand of standard tactics lets that team stretch a lot further.... but he fails at things that aren't protocol, even he admits to it in some of his video summaries.

all in all... the holy grail of teams is really the team that best suits you... things such as good IV breeds, EV training AND natures only help to put you on par with people that are into competitive battling since we all have a tendency to aim at becoming the best of the best.

when creating your team, think about checks and balances... as in counters to things, who can cover who's weaknesses, etc... and also keep in account that your tactics need to be worked on.

for the most part, after the first set of turns, I start to catch onto what my opponents trends are, and its from there that I find a means to counter or succumb to them.

Am I right in thinking that only 1 of those 20 pokes has a single stat move?

Am I right in thinking that only 1 of those 20 pokes has a single stat move?

I totally see what you're saying on that.... the only other "stat moves" could be the ones that inflict status by chance.

You might want to reconsider... because status afflicting moves can ruin entire tactics.

Yeah but others can be the building blocks for tactics. Either way i dont think shedinja is the right poke for status inflicting. A few in moderation is better than none at all IMO.

For the record Itachi, 252 / 252 / 4 is really only good for sweepers and a few walls.

And if you want suicune, pleasde please PLEASE use CMcune.

this is 3rd generation right? because e-punches zam
