I'm only new to competitive battling, but I'm trying to work out the kinks in my team so it covers it's weaknesses a bit better. The only poke that's really set at the moment (as far as EV spreads etc go) Is Gyarados, though movesets are all flexible, and i'm willing do switch out a few team members (though I'd prefer to keep the team members as is, if possible, though ev spreads, nature etc can generally be changed)

    Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
    Trait: Pressure
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature
    - Taunt
    - Stealth Rock
    - Iron Head
    - Stone Edge

Mostly standard, except running Iron Head over earthquake. Reason for this is because 2 of my team are already running earthquake, and decided to try it for a bit of different coverage, the main point of Aero is to set up a stealth rock anyways. Stone edge for strong STAB

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 216 HP / 40 SpA / 252 Def
    Sassy Nature
    - Flamethrower
    - Seismic Toss
    - Thunder Wave
    - Soft Boiled

Pretty standard Blissey, running flame thrower to hit common switch ins like heracross and lucario. Was going for a bold nature, but after breeding 40 chanseys in emerald and just getting sick of it, settled with a sassy that was reasonable.

    Gengar @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature
    - Shadow Ball
    - Focus Blast
    - Thunderbolt
    - Trick

I'm really liking trick Gengar, though not sure if I should use Choice specs or choice band. Also not positive that the move choice is necessarily the best.

    Gyarados @ Leftovers
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 212 HP / 16 Atk / 180 Def / 100 Spd
    Adamant Nature
    - Taunt
    - Dragon Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Outrage

Bulky Gyara, though I'm trying outrage out over waterfall. It's got the same power as STAB waterfall, though getting locked into the outrage and confusion is a bit of an if for me, but i guess if it means more likelihood of at least getting one or two pokes out of the way, no real issue. Earth/Dragon also has better coverage than Earth/Water. Hitting everything bar Skarmory and Bronzong for at least neutral damage.

    Metagross @ Choice Band
    Trait: Clear Body
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature
    - Meteor Mash
    - Zen Headbutt
    - Earthquake
    - Explosion

Basic Choice Band Metagross, not sure he's the best choice, but I've got a bit of an ice weakness, and he seemed a good, bulky resister. Metagross would probrably be the first poke I'd consider switching out of the team.

    Dragonite @ Leftovers
    Trait: Inner Focus
    EVs: 92 HP/ 180 Atk/ 236 Spd
    Jolly Nature
    - Haze
    - Roost
    - Fire Punch
    - Dragon Claw

Using this bloke for a Hazer, as well as a physical Wall. He should be able to stop Baton Passers from setting up via haze, and also Dragon Dancers. I've also considered Running Flamethrower and Draco Meteor and giving him a white herb and a special attack spread. This moveset was a bit of my own construction, so it's very flawed, as is the ev spread. I'd be Much appreciated if i could get some help getting this guy to work.

    Thanks!

Waterfall >> Outrage on Gyarados, always.

Roar is a better move than Haze btw, so yeah it >> Haze on nite.

Although you dont NEED a Hazer/PHazer, nor do i see what nite is doing role wise. I advise Mix Life Orb Nite to break walls.

    Dragonite@Life Orb
    112 Atk / 200 SpA / 196 Spe
    Rash Nature
    ~ Superpower
    ~ Draco Meteor
    ~ Fire Blast / Flamethrower
    ~ Roost

    - Ice Fang
    - Stone Edge

Running Iron Head you are still don't do squat to a tran. So if I were you i'd opt for ice fang. You have very little coverage with iron head/stone edge combo. At least with Ice Fang you have a nice hit that has better accuracy. JollyDactyl leads will rape you so, you might consider jolly > Adament.

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 42 HP / 176 Sp. Def / 40 SpA / 252 Def
    Sassy/calm Nature
    - Flamethrower
    - Seismic Toss
    - Thunder Wave
    - Soft Boiled

Pretty standard Blissey, running flame thrower to hit common switch ins like heracross and lucario. Was going for a bold nature, but after breeding 40 chanseys in emerald and just getting sick of it, settled with a sassy that was reasonable.

Ok, your EV's are pretty crazy. Giving bliss no sp. def EV's gives it almost nothing that you aim for, which is special sponging. If you can get a calm bliss, i'd opt it over sassy.
    Gengar @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature
    - Shadow Ball
    - Focus Blast
    - Thunderbolt
    - TrickHP Ice

I'm really liking trick Gengar, though not sure if I should use Choice specs or choice band. Also not positive that the move choice is necessarily the best.

With out HP ice you have no revenge for +1 Raging mence. If you want to opt Trick for blisseys, i'd consider focus blast before I tossed out HP Ice. HP Ice has always been more notably useful.
    Gyarados @ Leftovers
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 212 HP / 16 Atk / 180 Def / 100 Spd
    Adamant Nature
    - Taunt
    - Dragon Dance

    - Zen Headbutt

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'll take your advice on switching the Dragonite to the Mixed Sweeper Azelf. As for your advice stricken, thanks for the ev spreads on Blissey, I didn't have much idea on what I was doing there. I think I'll run the Jolly nature on Aero, and HP Ice over focus blast on gengar (I really do like trick).

    Metagross @ Choice Band
    Trait: Clear Body
    EVs: 16 Def / 240 Atk / 252 HP
    Adamant Nature
    - Meteor Mash
    - Thunder/Ice Punch
    - Earthquake
    - Explosion
Said EV spread allows you to live quite a few Unbanded non STAB EQs. Which is necessary to do some moderate sweeping. Gross isn't meant to be all that fast. I think the only set that have some speed EV investment are scarf and Agili, but you aren't running either. Zen Headbutt is a big red sign saying NO. With Zen you are 100% walled by Skarmory, and Cune won't be to kind to you either, aside from CBExplosion, which most cunes with max HP can live any way. Tpunch is for super effective on skarm and a 2HKO if math is correct, and you should outspeed it since most have neutral speed nature and no investment. It's also good for a lot of flyers, but Ice Punch is just as promising. Ice Punch gives you that ever nice OHKO on the not so much used gliscor. But what it's really nice for, is 2HKO'ing bulkyZapdos and the Dragons that will switch in on you. Also, it is very nice to come in on +1 Mence and survive the Outrage and return ice punch to the face.
Basic Choice Band Metagross, not sure he's the best choice, but I've got a bit of an ice weakness, and he seemed a good, bulky resister. Metagross would probrably be the first poke I'd consider switching out of the team.

    More comments in Bold.

You are pretty TTar weak. Atleast 4 of your current pokemon are OHKO'ed by one of his famous Stone Edges. I'd consider something of a decent late game sweeper as well.

    Infernape @ Life Orb
    Naive
    26 Attack 252 Speed 230 Sp. Att
    -Close Combat
    -Fire Blast
    -Grass Knot
-Hidden Power [Ice] / Nasty Plot

That would do some justice, not sure who to replace him with though.

Well I have a trained up Mixape from my old team. Maybe replace dragonite with him? I took him out because with aerodactyl and gengar, Having Infernape in there as well would make my team fairly fragile overall... How's Special Sweeper Lucario as a Tyranitar counter? Can a STAB'd Choice specs (life orb?) Aura sphere OHKO him? And more importantly, can Lucario outspeed him? I might consider him as a replacement for Dragonite. But then I lose access to strong fire type attacks... Alternatively possibly replace Metagross?

Well Standard gengars Focus Blast does, so STAB Aura sphere with specs almost guarenteed OHKO. I think Modest set does out speed non DD"ed sets. If you invest some speed EV's into modest set any way.

    Lucario @ Choice Specs
    252 Sp. Att / 252 speed
    -Aura Sphere / Vacuum Wave
    -Dark Pulse
    -Dragon Pulse
-Flash Cannon / HP Ice / HP Grass

There is really a lot you can do with specs cario, his move pool is amazing. You might consider about 96 attack EV investment over some speed, and replacing one of the complacent attacks like dark pulse for Close Combat for guarenteed bliss KO.

Use Vacuum Wave/Aura Sphere/Dragon Pulse or HP [Ice/Rock]/Shadow Ball on specs luke. This set grants the best coverage.

Aura Sphere already 2hko's Calm Blissey with SR up regardless so there is no need for CC.

Shadow Ball also has marginally better coverege when paired with fighting than Dark Pulse does.
