Need help with VirtuaNES

    For some reason, the FDS plugin for VirtuaNES suddenly stopped working.
    I don't know what's going on, I had it working correctly since I first downloaded it.
    When I got the fds images of the Japanese SMB and SMB2, I tested them, and it worked properly.
    But now, when I try to load either of those .fds images, it doesn't work.
    The very same roms that worked a week ago suddenly stopped working.
    When I try to load them, it says "Unsupported file format"

    I got disksys.rom and FDSplugin.dll in the same directory as VirtuaNES.exe
     
    I do assume it's because you've renamed a different type of file to .fds rather than using the actual one. But if the plugin has stopped working, you can always download a new one, and that's where Google comes in. ;)

    But if you've tried that, then you might wanna extract the .zip file again. If you haven't got it, try downloading a new .fds ROM from the same place.

    You didn't read what I said.
    I said that these roms worked properly in the first place, but it just stopped working for no reason.
    And I did try re-downloading everything a couple times.
