    Hey guys I'm totally new here so I'd like to tell you why I signed up. I consider myself a huge pokemon fan but I stopped playing the games after ruby/sapphire/emerald for whatever reason. Since then I've played fire red and heart gold and picked up my old gameboy from time to time but never gave the newer generations any of my time. After playing Ash Gray recently I think I might want to make my own hack and play all the games that I haven't yet. The biggest reason I joined was to find some guidance on doing so. I see there are a lot of tutorials which should help a ton but I'd like to get some friends that I can turn to with help or advice so please reach out to me if you want. I'm still in the preliminary stages for a storyline so once I have that complete I'll need all the help I can get. Thanks
     
    Hihiii there, and welcome, Poli! I really do hope that you'll pick up some of the new games whenever you get the chance, because they're quite fun and innovative enough so that you can interact with people more, you know? But the older games still shine, and I love playing them too! Kudos for playing HeartGold - a definite favourite of mine! <3

    You probably know this already, but, the Emulation and ROM Hacking board is always there for you to receive help from anyone! There's a Simple Questions thread that you can use to ask any general hacking related question, and there's also the script help thread in case you need some help with script making! There are plenty of help threads for you to see, and there's also the team discussions section, so yo can create a team of hackers to help you out as well! Loads of things you can do to help you with your hack! Unfortunately, I know little about ROM Hacking, but I wish you luck on the development of it! :3
