[Error] Needed help with Pokemon Essentials On rpg maker xp, error message: Warning: Map 5, as mentioned in the map connecting area, was not found.

I didnt realize changing the name of the location will screw things up, but now i can't start my game because the location ib tge nao was "deleted" eveb though i just changed the name, and the problem is that i can't even delete it, help .

I'm not sure what happened to make your map disappear, as the error does say it can't find map 5, and connections.txt only uses the map id, not the name.

However, you could delete the lines in question in connections.txt, but that's sort of a bandaid solution.
It'd be the line starting with 5, and the corresponding line ending in 5.
you'd have to redo the map connection for that map if it was supposed to have any, but starting from scratch on that front might be the way to go.
