Well, i have spotted all the Johto Pokemon except for Swinub! Can anyone find that Pokemon?

It's right next to Totodile. XD;

Hahaha! Well i guess that's all of them! Another superb piece of artwork from Pokemore!

It seems like this time he sacrificed quality for quantity. Just looking at the way Lugia was drawn, I could almost hear him saying the Japanese version of "Ah, screw this, I got 100+ Pokemon to draw. No time for refining!"

I'm importing Heart gold so I'm gonna have to brush up on my Japanese. Hey, maybe playing this game I'll become better at reading Japanese. Pokemon games are great for learning because they have no kanji in them and all the words are separated. It's like the easiest form of authentic Japanese you could possibly get.

I have no idea what you're talking about, Clair. It looks fine to me.

I suppose it isn't surprising that the language in Pokémon is simple, since the primary target IS kids.

BPM, I guess you could say that I tend to look at Pokesho art more critically than most of you here. But I went out of my way to circle all of the sketchy parts of the lineart.

And btw, Kurai needs help with the forum. Can anyone make forum skins? I actually attempted to learn CSS but it seemed a bit intimidating to me X_X

haha! 100 pokemon in one pic... it reminds me the game "Where's Waldo?"...

Hmm, sounds like a good game... Ok everyone, where's Ariados?

I can help! However, i'm busy at the moment!

>.< Thanks, I couldn't find it.
Hahaha! You're not the only one who can't find a Pokemon!

Hm, I see your point. That kind of stuff would have been easy to fix in Photoshop, five seconds tops. However, with over 100 Pokemon, it is also likely that he couldn't spot all his mistakes. It's easy to be critical of someone else's work when you are seeing it for the first time, but speaking as someone who also does many different kinds of art, it can sometimes be hard to notice your own mistakes. You have to figure he sat there for several hours drawing and tweaking the picture, and that tends to desensitize the artists from the tiny mistakes in the art.

He may end up releasing another version, like we've seen him do in the past. Constructive criticism is always a good thing for improving an artists style.

Not only that but he also may have wanted to release this artwork on the day the games HeartGold and SoulSilver were released! So he had a deadline to follow! Whether it was good or not, he had to upload it by then!

damn
that is a lot of pokemon
it seems all of the johto pokemon are present
it must have taken a long time to maken
even if he did cut some corners here and there

the heracross has a very funny look on his face/in his eyes

I don't remember watching an Octillery wearing a headband in the anime!
But i do remember reading that there was this promotion in Tokyo where stores gave away Octillery headbands to high-level Octillery owners!

the release is today?

Yeah! Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver were released on September 12, 2009 in Japan! The release was yesterday!

Yeah, I would agree with that statement. Looking at Ursaring...

I vaguely remember it.

This picture reminds me a lot of the opening song for Season 3, "Johto Journeys". Ah, the return to Johto. :)

If i remember correctly, the octillery was own by a girl with a food stand
and of course the snack she sold was something like squidballs
or fried dough with a piece of squid in the middle or something
and like all eps of pokemon
she wanted to be the best and make the most delicious squiddyballs in order to beat/impress someone
like always, brock, as the ladiesman/chef he is, wanted to help her
misty and ash were the victims who had to test every batch of balls
hence the headband on the octillery
how this makes sense, i don't know XD

and of course, just when they had the most perfect balls of them all, team rocket came to steal pikachu/octillery and also sucked up the balls (no pun intended)
they used one of their weird vacuüm machine things

but it was like 8 years ago
so i am not sure, but it sounds about right

Thanks for the plot summary! But the anime episode's still not coming to mind!

Anyway, there's a new ero pic by Pokémore. Misty's in it with another female character(I don't have the faintest idea of whom she might be)!
I've noticed that Misty's eyes are an even brighter shade of green! They're emerald!
