I don't think Rockman deserves to be kicked. We all sometimes need a swift kick in the butt to remind us of the proper way to behave. Let's hope for lesson learned and life reflected and leave it at that unless the behavior in question continues. But that's just my opinion.

Kenta was his anime name, yes. And Jimmy in the English dub.

But some of his preset names in the GBC games were Gold and Hiro (or Hiroki).

The preset names differ from each game! In Gold, Silver and Crystal, the four preset names presented for the male protagonist were unique!

Gold

• ゴールド Gold
• ヒロキ Hiroki
• テツオ Tetsuo
• タカシ Takashi

Silver

• シルバー Silver
• カモン Kamon
• トオル Tōru
• マサオ Masao

Crystal

• クリス Chris
• ヨウスケ Yōsuke
• タケヒロ Takehiro
• タカオ Takao

Don't worry RAS, I felt the same way. Someone seriously needs to sort through that thread and eliminate all the broken links, superflorous posts, and other things that make the thread 1000 pages of junk and about 200 pages of pictures. There are some good pictures mixed in with a heck of a lot of bad stuff.

That said, if not for my attempt to go through the ENTIRE thread a few months back, I'd never had heard of Pokemore and never would have found this little community.

Same here, I usally did this:
Boy: Gold
Girl: Crystal
Rival: Silver

I'm still probably going to stick with these names.

I really don't remember, but most of the time i go with either my name or the first one in the list
i guess its time to dust off my gold version and start playing again
