Suggestion: New board(s)

Dedicated to debating the design/name origins of Pokémon as well as Fakémon creation and discussion. I mean, the Fakémon fanbase is pretty diverse and I'm there is only much that can be discussed about it such asdrawing similarities between real and fake Pokémon. What do you guys think?

i'm not exactly hip with the pokémon boards these days but i'm not really
sure where it would go
pokémon general?
or if not an explicitly pokémon-related board, not sure where it would fit in any of the other areas
rom hacking? art and design?

plus the usual question of 'would the section be viable enough to support itself?' applies
i'm sure the interest in the subject is diverse, but is it concentrated enough to make the section a viable hub of activity beyond two weeks, if it all
but if i'm entirely out of touch with the pokémon community (which i wouldn't be surprised about) then by all means tell me so

Much like any other forum suggestion, it'd have to be able to pass the basics i.e. hold its own in regards to activity, have some sort of demand within the community etc. A good way of testing that out however, is suggesting it as part of Forum Frontier. If it's lucky enough to get chosen by the community, then we really could see how it would go as a forum.

Have you tried making threads on this in Pokémon General yet? A good ground for creating a new section in our forums is to have proof that it would be interesting for people, in the form of the existence of active threads on the topic already.

If you're mostly thinking about making fakemon sprites and visual designs, perhaps Art & Design section is a good bet too!
