I don't really "support" any team per se, as to me supporting a team means dedicating time and money to following them and sticking by them through thick and thin, and I can count on one hand the number of football matches i've been to in my lifetime. I do, however like to see Everton (Been to Goodison Park a few times, used to live round the corner) and Sunderland (Nearest team to where I live) do well. I'll hopefully be going to a few matches at the Stadium of Light this season with friends.
In terms of how they've done over the summer, i'm glad that Moyes has ruled himself out of the Villa job. Everton should have another pretty solid season and I can see them finishing there or thereabouts again.
Sunderland don't seem to have strengthened much, in fact by selling Jones and failing to bring in a left back, some wingers and a striker they've taken steps backward if anything. If things stay as they are and Bruce doesn't strengthen before the end of the window I can see them struggling (They'll stay up though, there are at least 4 or 5 teams i'd consider weaker). I can also see him getting the sack if things don't go smoothly, some of the fans are already quite frustrated and underwhelmed by the transfer activity (Or lack of) this summer.
I do enjoy watching the season progress up and down the leagues, it should be another interesting season.
