New guy

Hi everyone, I'm completely new to these forums, and thought I'd start here and say hello first.

I've played the pokemon games since the originals (I had blue), but very much off and on over the years, mostly just playing them casually. In generation IV I got into learning about the inner mechanics and how to breed, even learned about the RNG system a bit. I've never really had any friends that play, so I've never traded on anything besides the GTS, which made it kind of hard to do a lot of things.

This past week I had no power following a freak October snow storm here in the northeast US, and so I spent a large part of the week huddled under 5 blankets with nothing but a DS and Pokemon White, which I had bought and barely played awhile ago. Well I finished the story and did most of what else I could, so then I started breeding some, decided to try and make a battle subway team and used my phone to get online to find ideas for that... ended up realizing that in order to get the pokemon I want for it, I either need to buy another DS so I can transfer my fourth gen stuff or find some forums somewhere with people that might be up for trading/helping out a new guy. :)

You have come to the right place when it comes to getting new Pokémon :) Try the Trade Corner - it'll help a lot! Especially for things that you can no longer get directly :P

Have fun around the forums! Besides trading, PC is large, so it should have something in store for you somewhere. Try to find something that interests you and... well, go wild!
