    Hello There,

    I'm an older Pokemon player who is currently in college for game design. I am a programmer and I know a few assembly languages, but I've never touched rom hacking personally. I discovered this forum while looking for whatever happened to "advance map". You know, the PokeCommunity is a very well hidden community... any search terms involving Pokemon would give you hundreds of results about things that just don't matter. So I guess I'm lucky to be here, but unlucky that it took me so long to discover this place.

    I'm not much of a forum user but I will at least introduce myself in the area designated for introductions, so no one will think I'm a jerk for going straight to post in any other forums.
