Hey, i need help trying to figure out how to trade pokemon etc...

I have just started Pokemon black and got badge and got c gear..

I want to know who to ask about getting pokemon..

I have got the starter fire pokemon and want the other 2 starter pokemon but dont have any decent pokemon to trade, if anyone can help that would be amazing.

Also i have seen things todo with older pokemon games and generation pokemon being traded to black and wanted to know how this is done aswell or do you have to complete story to unlock other gen pokemon?

First off, welcome to the forum! To answer your question in order to trade Pokemon, you will need a Nintendo Wifi connection, I don't know if DS lites have Wifi capabilities which I think they don't. But if you have a DSi you can easily connect to Nintendo Wifi with a wireless router if you have one. Do you have these things?

Yes my ds is setup to wifi etc and did go on the trade thing yesturday, but when you have just started its very hard to offer good pokemon to trade so im hoping i might find someone nice on here who has these pokemon that can give me..

I was also wondering about 1st gen pokemon (charmander, pikachu) can I get these pokemon on black??

If not, just post a thread. Also every generation of Pokemon can be in B/W but I'm pretty sure you cannot capture them in-game though. Only the 5th generation of Pokemon can be caught in B/W. Edit: But you can migrate your Pokemon from other games onto B/W.

However, they'd probably be as eggs (because I don't have the patience to hatch them!) and I have quite a few on Pokemon White(Emboar, Serperior, Oshawott, Typhlosion, Ivysaur, Grotle, and Marshtomp thus far); I don't care what you trade me, honestly :0

Sadly, you can't just capture starters around... and I'm unsure/don't recall if there are Pikachu's roaming around in B/W :(

I don't really know how many steps it would take to hatch them, so maybe you should look it up :0 I don't have the brain capacity to memorize and recall all of that information, you see~

Well, there's a day care early in the game, where you can get eggs... if you put a female pokemon and a male pokemon (obviously!) in the daycare. It turns out as the mother pokemon, though.

You get eggs from breeding Pokemon. It takes a certain amount of steps in order for it to hatch. If you want breeding to be easier, acquire a Ditto, they can breed with anything except for genderless Pokemon which are mainly legendaries. Also make sure the Pokemon you want to come out of the egg is female if you do not have a Ditto. Use this thread if you have any quick questions regarding B/W only. Any trades can also be conducted at the Trade Corner, however. You have the option to do a quick trade and/or make a trade thread on your own. You can also ask the moderators of that section questions about trade, as they're more than happy to answer them/help you out. :)

Though I can answer one of your questions, Sukalo: You can obtain Charizard and Pikachu on black, but they have to be via Trade Only.
