New player in Pokemon universe

Welcome to PokéCommunity, dear! Ah, that's perfectly fine; we all have to start somewhere. Did you get any game yet? If not, I suggest you should play according to time-line, with FireRed and LeafGreen being your first games. Next would come HGSS, I believe, then RSE, later DPPt, BW, BW2, and finally XY.

Hey and welcome to PC! It must be fun experiencing Pokemon for the first time, I wish I could go back to those days! Anyway like Endless said I would recommend playing the games in chronological order. I'm sure you'll have awesome adventures exploring the world of Pokemon!

Seriously, though, I'm sure you'll love it. Once you get a grip on the basics, you may well become one of the greatest trainers ever!
