New Pokemon Game ideas.

    A new Pokemon game should be a Wii and/or DS adaption that is actually based on the Anime.

    Kinda like Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness but instead of using Poke Snacks the Pokemon are out in the wild like the Anime. They're just grazing, having a good time, no long grass needed to spot them.

    Also the Adventure should be based on Ash's adventures; start in Kanto, move on to the Orange Islands, then Johto, etc.

    Anyway, that's just how I think a new game should be. If anyone else has any other ideas for a new game, please post.
     
    I think a game based on the Anime would be great.

    I don't think it'll be as fun as the other games considering it's Ash's journey. But I think there should be a Pokemon Wii game called "Pokemon Topaz". It would be like D/P but with 3-D effects and what not.

    Yeah that would be pretty cool. But instead of the generic Pokemon fade out then turn based battle style you actually use the trees, buildings, rocks, etc to your advantage.
     
    I think it would be great in battle if you could control your pokemon super smah bros style. then you could jump and attack however you'd like. the only thing i can see wrong with that, though, is that the game would be based less on strategy and preparation. it would be more about skills and ability. i think it would work well in a 3d spinoff. hey, and i really like the anime idea. but except instead of basing it on Ash's journey, a new storyline should be made. because people who've watched the cartoon will know what's going to happen.

    i don't know, but i think our ideas would work well in the same game. or i'm just crazy. ;)

    Yeah it would be cool to battle as your Pokemon but Palkia and other legendaries would be too big to do such a thing. They could like an episode thing like on Episode 01 you would have to do some sort of mission or whatever.
     
    A Game based on Ash's adventures would be pretty cool, would be worth its money. Dont agree on all the missions though, or we'd be here for a year or two trying to finish it.
    Maybe just the major things... stopping Team R's major Plans, DEFEATING MEWTWO! And downing the Unknowns... it'd be sweet.

    Yeah, doing it Smash Bros style would be awesome but like RotomVolt said it'd be hard for the Legendaries and bigger Pokemon such as Gyarados or Wailord.

    It doesn't have to be based on Ash's journey exactly. A new storyline could be made and depending on what you do you could be good or turn evil and join Team Rocket.
     
    ok heres my idea a pokemon mmorpg for the game ileterate out their thats a (massively multiplayer online role playing game. you are in the world of pokemon and gym leaders are npc's and stuff but you design your own character and battle others in good like world of warcraft graphics.

    and maybe the best players could become mastersw. also have diffrent feilds you can work on like researcher,breeder,coordinator. also let people be able to join team rocket, megma, aqua, galaxy. and you could go through all 4 regions plus orange island, battle frontier, whirl islands, sivii islands (i think its called sivii)
    other places like alto mare ect. i think that would be the coolest.
     
    Hmm... Pokemon MMORPG, eh? Imagine the possibilites! (and the profits for Nintendo!)

    That's a game I'd definitely buy.
     
    Again with the super smash bros idea, RotomVolt and Max Damage39, you have a good point with the size, but look at Bowser. He's huge, but when you fight him, he's not too much bigger than Pikachu. But I don't know. My idea would be hard to make happen. Maybe a breeding game using the Sims style? You could be a breeder and take care of your pokemon and.... forget it. I'm crazy.
     
    I'd like to see like in tales of games, that a pokemon can learn more than four moves but only four can be selected to use in battle. Out battle you can change them

    And I want to see a game where you can play as a Rocket / Magma / Aqua / Galaxy member, and work your way through the ranks to become the leader, all while holding back the hero of the game until you can steal his Pokemon and take over Kanto / Johto / Hoenn / Sinnoh. Or something.

    I actually think that would be a good game. I don't know how it would be done, but if they made a game like the Sims, I'd buy it.
