In some threads, it will say no new post, when their actually is. Then, in others it will say that there is a new post, when in fact their isn't. It really irks me.

It's the database being stupid, don't worry :x
If you post when a Database Error is happening, your posts will act... strangely. But it should be fine after a new post has been submitted once the server is working fine once again.
