    Hack Of: FireRed

    Introduction:
    Hi there, and welcome to PKMN Moonlight, a FIRERED HAck by me, and only me! =D Anyways I'm here to show you some of the ideas I have for this hack and the help I need >.< so I started this hack today, actually. But I feel that I still need help. =/ Lets start!

    Story:
    This is a Little rough but here goes. Your mom is famous for being a pokemon breeder. One day on your birthday she tells you she needs to quickly leave to another town to get something she left. She says to go to your neighbor. When you come back, you find her on the beach getting chased by a Magikarp. she gives you a MAREEP and once you beat the magikarp, she tells you that your dad, in the Victory Road, needs your help and she dosent know why. You set out to find out what has happened to your dad... And how your mom's being famous changes the whole gameplay.

    -Most of the pokemon from all the games
    -New tiles
    -New character!
    -MABYE Some scratch fakemon and D/P pokemon...

    -New scripts

    I don't think i can help too much with all that scripting stuff and junk,
    but i could make a sign or two if you like.

    Right, I've got a bit of advice for you:

    1. Don't use fakemons unless they are really good!
    2. Don't insert tiles unless you get someone who can, or can without creating errors. there are a lot of tile errors, like the colors don't match on each tile.
     
    Yea I tried adding a new type of grass but it messed the grass up.. Can someone please give me some new grass tiles please? (via PM) Thanks for advice, Turtwig. =]
    Can you point out the errors, turtwig? That would help a bunch!
    (besides the weird square grass in the first scrn, I know about that)
     
    No problem. Well, the progress isn't that far, so you've got a choice.

    1. Begin again and either use the normal tiles, get a ROM base (place to check is ROM Hacking Resources in the ROM Hacking section), or get someone to insert tiles for you.
    2. Find someone to fix the pallettes.

    Anyway, I wish you luck.
     
    I tried to find a base before I started but couldn't, so I deiceded to start one on my one. If you'd like, Ill post my 2 other retired hacks.. They're pretty bad. (One was made with a base)

    Anybody that can help me insert tiles or script or change palletes please PM me. =]
     
    You should have a storyline for your hack in the first post, it is needed in Scrapbox/Hacks Showcase threads.
     
    Thanks dude. Guys, I still need a tile inserter and skilled scripter, mabye a spriter for new character sprites, and hex editor. The rest I can do. I think Eneko can help with some concepts for the characters. Also, Ive deiceded you get a Mareep for your starter.
