He has to get his information somewhere and I don't see some owner of an RP board having connections with the development crew of Game Freak unless he has some major business outside. Its word of mouth because he has to be getting information second hand if its not fan made info to begin with.

Highly unlikely and its highly false information if the guy can't show proof of his claim with possible picture to support his claim.

Companies don't just leak any information without a purpose. The Corocoro leaks are to build hype. The one about Zerkom in a blog was from a first hand source that was accidental and not meant to be seen until today or a later date. The new rumors posted seem to be mainly playing off of what was given in today's leak with a highly creative imagination.

(I'm a very skeptical person)


As for those that were single and got Evos. Onix's only GOOD stat was Defense which is 160. Second Best was Speed which was 70. Everything esle was below 50. For Steelix, so mych stuff drops just to give it 30 more defense. Speed drops all the way to 30. Magmar was pretty bad. Electabuzz is a bit better, but his abilities don't make him rape. Scyther still not that great and only has Technician as a good ability.

All of these also evolve by item, not that that has a lot of meaning.
 
1. Tauros could evolve by item too?
2. Tauros is no better than any of the Pokémon you mentioned if not worse.

I'm not saying this information is real, I'm just saying shrugging it off as false with no real evidence either way is dumb.
Seriously, read the post. If the guy had enough evidence to convince Pokébeach, he obviously has at least a chance of being correct.
 
The webmaster for Pokebeach also said its his duty to post rumors because they are a fan site. Accepting it as true because one site put it up is kinda ridiculous. He could have easily showed us the proof that the guy gave him. Seeing as he said he was given some.

If you are gullible to believe everything you hear, then Light types are defiantly in the new games. Pokebeach is one fan made site for the card game. If these rumors were to be places in say, Bulbapedia or Serebii which act as resource sites made for the games. His only credit for posting is because he actually went and looked up to see if the guy may have any credit and to see if the guy is who he said he was. At best this is just more fan made information that could be true, but safer to say is false until proven to be true. Just like the discussion on Light types.

He also stated that there were more ways to boost type damage with weather based moves or items with similar effects. his basis was a weather checker application somewhere in the game. If anything, a weather checker would mean we now have free roaming weather. Not Route specific rain and Sun like in the R/S/E D/P/Pt games. There may be traveling rain storms that go across the region or you can see if you get a weather bonus in that route or area. It could mean a lot of things, but using the new application that hasn't been given any information on other sites that are also following these released just a closely as a defense to support his claim show holes in the claim itself. We don't know what it does, yes. Could this be true, maybe, but don't hold your breath.

As for Tauros. Stat wise he is still better than Scyther which had the best stats out of all that were listed. All the others had poor stats and the evolutions just gave them more balance. Scyther benefited from his evolution though some would rather use Scyther more than Scizor. Really only thing that upsets Tauros is its Move pool.

Decisions changing story? I've wanted this for forever! I'm like a kid in a candy store right now, who happen to have just ran into a random store, thinking it to be a candy store.

Oh, sorry, where did I say I accepted it as true? Oh, yes, I didn't (Hell, the title is "New Rumours" not "New Confirmed Information").
I'm saying that it's possible, not that it's fact.

More so than the Light Type, which was a stupid comparison because nobody who has ever given inside information before or is trusted by a popular/reasonable webmaster has stated there will be a Light Type. Just stupid fans.

Also, Pokebeach is easily as credible as Serebii and there are numerous reasons Pokebeach wouldn't be able to display developer material, including legal ones.

Oh, also, Martijn Müller is not some "rp site owner", he's a Dutch reporter. He was also the first ever to report Sony's 'Playstation Home'.

SO, read the whole post and take it as such, don't pick it apart and attempt to debunk something that isn't there to be debunked.

isnt yin and yang the balance between dark and light? not 'if you do something good, good stuff will happen' and vice versa?
well either way, decision making would be a really nice way of tweaking up pokemon. as for the minotauros thing, there are ways for its existance.
 
No branching storylines, stop trying to turn pokemon into a generic jrpg.
