    Pokemon.com updated their site with a new mailbag regarding the anime:

    Q: Does anyone know when season 11 will begin in the US?
    A: We know fans have been eager to see the new episodes, and here's the good news: season 11 kicks off in April, just a few weeks away!

    Q: I've been hearing a lot about Pokemon season 11, and I've heard many rumors of what the opening will be. Do you think you could give me a hint of what the next opening will be, if not, actually reveal what the season 11 opening will be?
    A: We can tell you two things: there will be a new opening theme, and it will not be a rap. As for the rest, start counting down your calendars!

    Oh, and they also confirmed that there won't be anymore "Who's that pokemon"

    The exact date for season 11 is (probably) April 12, according to cabletvtalk.com

    Yeah! Finally we are rid of that stupid rap. It just plain sucked! I'm hoping that it'll be really catchy like the Johto or Advanced seasons.
     
    If it doens't have a rap, I might actually like it. Too bad I haven't been watching the last two seasons in english ever since the voices got changed.

    agreed. Johto and Battle Frontier/AG had the BEST music!

    and sweet! I'd better tell my friend so she can see them! (yeah, I admit, I don't watch the Anime on TV, but I'll Youtube whenever I can)
     
    I love how they hinted about the trade with Aipom and Buizel.
     
    Hmm. It depends whether they counted DP as rap. I thought the background mucis to it sounded kind of like rock music, myself. But if the person had asked "are you going to keep the original opening?" they would've just ignored the e-mail like they did when I asked about the BGM. Or maybe they thought kiddies wouldn't be interested or something, oh well

    What ideot came up with the theory that pokemon fans would be into rap? XD
     
    I hope season 11 is better...though I am having my doubts about the show... :/

    I want openings like Johto and the first opening...when ever I listen to that, it's practically a slam of nostalgic.
     
    I don't really count any of the Pokemon themes as 'Rap' and I don't mind D&P. But I do hope for a longer Season 11 theme, Like Advanced Challenge.
     
    I wish they would putt he japanese openings and endings for DP on the English Dubs. DP in Japanese's current ending theme "Kaze no Message" is hot, is it to much to ask for them do mix it up once and awhile? I'm not really surprized that they took off the "Who's that Pokemon?" it was getting to annoying, now if they were to show the Japanese method of in between show >> a scene with Satoshi, Hikari, and Brock >>commercials >> then another scene of the 3 >>> then show then it would be better. ( if you want to know what I mean, watch a japanese version of one of the DP episodes on youtube.) But anyway, yay! April 12th! Only a couple more weeks!
     
    Personally, I think ^ over there is totally.... Semi-Deaf. The song is just annoying if the rhythm of the song you heard before it isn't similar. Anyway, out of the Spam zone.

    I don't really care if the openings are rap, rape, or ripe bananas, I just hope they put some harded rock into it (It's not like younger audiences will bleed their ears off.... wait a sec). Just like a spiced up version of "I'm Unbeatable", except maybe young kids will bleed their ears off but I won't give a dang. I'm glad they took out the WTFITPDI!.... I mean, who's that Pokemon. It got pretty annoying.

    just change the video.
    It was the best one and always will be.

    Semi-agree. It's pretty terrible, but I watch it because of my horrible obsession with Pokemon. And I like yelling at Ash for being stupid.

    THUNDERBOLT DOES NOT WORK ON TORTERRA. HE'S PART GROUND YOU RETARD. AND EVEN IF HE WASN'T, HE'D STILL RESIST IT. GOD.

    These are my hopes and dreams for season 11, they're in a box. XP
    No rap theme song,
    No pointless/boring fillers for every episode.
    Get the old voices back.
    And the one thing that they should really get rid of....
    NO ASH KETCHUM!!!!!! xD
    I hope the theme song actually rhymes, the only theme song in pokemon that I found myself singing all day was,
    "Everybody wants to be a master, everybody wants to show their skills." Song. That's Johto journeys right? T_T
