How do you feel about this? I guess I'm not surprised; why would they stop milking this cow now that Star Wars is a popular thing again, after all.

Personally I would like to see a trilogy based on the Knights of the Old Republic 1&2 events, but that might be unlikely, seeing as the movie and game verses drifted apart when Disney entered the arena... before that, I think the Jedi Knight games were pretty much canon.

Making yet another trilogy might be milking it, but there is a lot of potential for using the Expanded Universe content to give us original stories.

I've always wondered how Starkiller would look on film; perhaps this could be the opportunity?

I think I'm gonna reserve judgment until I know something more. Personally, I wouldn't want to see them adapting the video games or the expanded universe material. I think a lot of that is, well, not as good as something new could be (if done right). It's like how The Force Awakens was generally fine, but all the referencing to other Star Wars material (chiefly the original trilogy) was some of the most difficult to digest or alienating. When you're adapting you have to walk the fine line of being faithful to the source material and being available to newcomers who know nothing about that. Games, I think, are too niche for something big like Star Wars. Better to make something new entirely.

As a huge Star Wars fan, I dont like that Disney is creating so many Star Wars movies. But if The Last Jedi and Episode 9 are good, then Ill totally be open to the idea. I really hope for an Old Republic trilogy; however, we have to keep in mind that each of the 3 trilogies have been mostly back-to-back in time. An Old Republic trilogy would be out of place. I would expect a stand alone movie if Disney chooses to cover the Old Republic because casual fans aren't familiar with anything extended universe.
