After my I walked through my last team I posted on here, I decided to just wipe the slate clean and try a truly different team. So I just cleared my mind, and decided to take a totally different group of Pokemon and piece them together as a truly supportive, competitive team. So far this team has ROCKED on Shoddy, I am debating breeding them out on Diamond and making this team a living thing because it has just done so well. I need a few opinions, and if anyone sees any large gaps, please do not hesitate to call me out on it.

so lets get right into it

    Katalina: Screen Support
    Gardivour @ Light Clay
    Modest Nature - Trace
    252 HP / 120 SpD / 136 Spe
    *Reflect
    *Light Screen
    *Healing Wish
    *Psychic

Thoughts: I never thought about using a Screen Supporter as a Lead before. But I have always loved Gardivour so it was hard not to. There are two options here, either she will set up her screens and GTFO and wait on the bench till I need her again, or someone elses lead will kill her before she can make a move. She is Pretty fast, so in the end she is able to throw up Reflect and can usually stay alive to at least get Light Screen up as well. Gives me time to get my team completely set up. I really am glad I have picked her as a lead, she really has proved her self in the past.

    Malta: Diversey
    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Bold Nature - Natural Cure
    48 HP / 252 Def / 108 SpA
    *Ice Beam
    *Thunderbolt
    *Toxic
    *Softboiled

Thoughts: AS everyone knows, Blissey is wonderful. She is also annoying as all get out. The one problem I do have is that her moves, if they are not super effective on whoever shes attacking, are almost impossible to OHKO someone. The other issue is that when I have my Toxic Spikes out, her Toxic becomes useless. She does, however, always prove herself when a Dragon Type (she's devoured her share of Salamence in the past) come to play, as well as outlasted long enough for Toxic to completely destroy the other player. I don't want to give up the accuracy and importance of Ice Beam and Thunderbolt, but sometimes they just aren't enough. She normally ends up being the last one in play too, and if they also have a Blissey, those fights can be real Lulzy.

    Espada : Sword Dancer
    Heracross @ Life Orb
    Jolly Nature - Guts
    252 Atk / 6 SpD / 252 Spe
    *Swords Dance
    *Megahorn
    *Stone Edge
    *Close combat

Thoughts: I have honestly never considered using a Heracross before, until one Sword Danced his way above me and sweeped my entire team. So Heracross's job, is a simple one: destroy. If I have the opportunity to sword dance, I will, if not, Close Combat to take out the heavy Normal types, and those weak to fighting/bug/rock and then get him out of there. Heracross is a strong one, but his weaknesses are full and through. He normally is a sacrifice kill, only living to destroy whoever I need out ASAP, and then getting another big hit on whatever is sent out after. So far I am enjoying him.

    Morte: Sleep Talker
    Weezing @ Leftovers
    Bold Nature - Levitate
    252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
    *Fire Blast
    *Thunder
    *Rest
    *sleep Talk

Thoughts: This guy truly makes me feel evil. Not only is he the heavy hitter to take out any Metagross that tries to take the field, or any other Steelies, but Sleep talk has saved me more than once in the past. Weezing is the best way to end the game, he takes the field, and while healing, blows up whatever is attacking. My favorite thing is that most people put him to sleep RIGHT when he comes onto the field, and then bam, sleep talk. Ah, he is glorious. Only issue is when he's the last one out, sleep talk always runs out of PP, but that's ok, cause he can normally blast out whatever is coming at him.

    Toma-Lo: Offensive Rain
    Ludicolo @ Damp Rock
    Modest Nature - Rain Dish
    4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    *Surf
    *Grass Knot
    *Ice Beam
    *Rain Dance

Thoughts: Again, another pokemon I never considered using, but man, he is awesome. The STAB on Surf, with Rain Dance, is enough to knock out any opponent. Not to mention, most of the time people will forget what he is weak too, his combo type will mess even me up sometimes XD. Grass Knot can knock out any tyranitar that decides to drop in, and Ice beam is there for those pesky dragons that could have the potential to knock him down. The best part about rain dance, too, is it knocks those Heatran's attacks down just a enough to take him down, and it raises those electric type moves I have on Weezing and Blissey. All in All he does his job and he does it well.

    Tatiana: Spiker
    Nidoqueen @ Leftovers
    Impish Nature - Poision Point
    252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Def
    *Earthquake
    *Toxic Spikes
    *Stealth Rock
    *Roar

Thoughts: I usually switch right over to this little lady right after I set up my screens. She can take the heavy hits, and get toxic spikes out onto the field. If there is time, I can get a few Stealth Rocks on the team, and if the opponent lead with a toxic spiker, you can say bye bye to those. With Poision Point, I can take out anyone that tries to knock her down physically. And she has A good power move to get in a few few good this, Roar can also be used to my advantage, not only can I poison their team and if I have rocks out, I can also check out what they have hiding and maybe even get a few our that are weak to Earthquake.

All in all, I love this team. It has done very well in the past. It has it's holes, and that's what I need. I need everyone to take a good hard look at tell me what they can see and any ideas to cover those holes.

Oh Blissey and Ludicolo can take out a salamence, no problem. I have considered will-o-whisp on weezing, but as a sleep talker, those power house moves keep him going. I considered putting will-o-wisp on gaurdivour, but decided against it since her main job isn't for status conditions but to bulk up the field.

Just a couple of nitpicks (Expert rating left for D_A and Anti:)

-Blissey prefers to have Seismic Toss so it doesn't lose to stuff like SubCM Raikou/SubPetaya Empoleon. Preferably over Thunderbolt.

-RestTalkers really don't work as well in HyperOffense Platinum, especially on a balanced team. Since Heracross takes status already with Guts, use Will-O-Wisp and Pain Split>>RestTalk on Weezing.

-In OU, Bronzong or Jirachi does a much better job at dual screening than Gardevoir. Bronzong is probably the best option, because both Gardy and Jirachi are Pursuit weak.

Jirachi isn't Pursuit Weak; its part steel typing nullifies the dark weakness.

Besides that, Bold Bliss sucks. Use this Blissey if you actually want to WALL special attackers:
    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Natural Cure
    Calm
    252 Def/80 SpA/176 SpD
    Flamethrower
    Toxic
    Seismic Toss
    Softboiled
Additionally, Blissey is a terrible Salamence counter because a once Dragon Danced, Life Orb Outrage utterly destroys her.

Jirachi is NOT pursuit weak. =/

Oh Blissey and Ludicolo can take out a salamence, no problem.

Ludi is 2HKO'd from both sides of the attacking spectrum. In addition the only Mence set bliss walls is specs mence and no one uses that anymore. Not only that but Flygon too who hits really hard.

This team really needs a steel to absorb Outrages.

My suggestion would be turn Blissey into Chansey and Heracross into someone and then you've got yourself a good UU team.

    Tidbits about the team.
This team is alot better than your first so congratulations on that, if you're still thinking OU then I'd replace either Nidoqueen, Heracross or Ludicolo.
I only say Ludicolo as he is a great sweeper, but you have him setting up his own Rain Dance and no one else on the team really benefits from Rain Dance barring Thunder on Weezing, though Rain Dance nulifies fire attacks which gives you another positive when adding a Steel. If you were to replace him then Empoleon can do the same sort of thing as a late game sweeper.

Heracross is fine I guess, but you're team lacks priority something that you really should have in today's metagame and there are many others who can do the same job as him but with accesisibilty to priority.

Nidoqueen phazes and sets up SR for you, something that I don't want to tell you to get rid of, but if you're looking for a steel type to eat Outrages (such as Jirachi or Brongzong) then she's probably the one to go. With so many levitaters, flyers and steel types out there, Toxic Spikes are more of a waste of turns on non-stall teams and in fact aren't benefitting you too much.

    My suggested replacements.
I would suggest adding in Empoleon over Ludicolo or someone like Lucario over Heracross but neither are absolutly nessecary depending on any other changes made to your team. I highly suggest Empoleon though.

Nidoqueen could easily become someone like Jirachi or Brongzong but I'd suggest Swampert. Keeping a ground type gives you a nice little electric resist and Swampert can phaze as well as set up SR which seem to be Nidoqueen prime additions to the team. Swampert when EV'd the right way can take Outrages and attack back with Ice Beam, though isn't going to take one quite the way a Steel would.

Sorry that wasn't my best rate, I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open and words aren't really coming to me. Good Luck on the team though, it's looking pretty good. (Though it might serve better in UU?)
