I just saw a report on TV saying that in California (i think), a school is doing some program called Learn at Lunch. It's supposed to teach kids about nutritional foods and stuff. The said although the law states that Lunch time is not classroom time, they're trying to bypass that. I think that's stupid.

I can imagine walking up to the lunch lady and her saying to me "You're not getting your mystery meat until you tell me the first ten digits of pi!"

How would they incorporate learning into lunch? o_O

"Here's your pizza, but first I want a 10 page report on the bladder!"

Man, how are they gona make me fail on my best subject. XD

I guess if it affects all schools, then we'll be seeing Lunch on our report cards.

Boy, would that be annoying. Actually, I think the news said they'd teach and serve us nutritional foods since they think the junk some people eat aren't really good. I saw this on FOX news, so i'm sure that's what they said.

Luckly (and hopefully), this whole thing won't affect people who bring their lunch, cause I do.

I predict that everything's going to be made of vitamin-enriched soy...everything. That would be frightening if they graded you on how nutritious your lunch was, though.

yeah, they can't make me not eat something in my lunch... unless it's drugs or beer... j/k, but still, that's pretty stupid. When i went to the YMCA, they wouldn't let us share food, or eat junk food before our "healthy lunches" lol, that's one of the reasons i quit.
