New to forums, Poke-enthusiast, modder/hacker.

Hey there!

I'm Ocean, and I'm a long-time Poke-enthusiast. I'm new to the forums (obviously) and to ROMhacking, though I have modded PC games before, quite extensively. I don't own any games past gen III, but have played a few on emulator. I am a pokeshipper (no school like the old school), and won't change that, but I do follow a few other ships not involving Ash.

I'm happy to discuss any aspect of pokemon, but will actively and admittedly troll negaishippers, and occasionally pearlshippers, so don't try to talk to me about Iris or Dawn with Ash. It won't work.

Anyways, I hope to make some friends here (You'll probably see me lurking on the ROMhacking forums more than anywhere else, since I'm a modder by nature).

Welcome to the forums, Ocean! :3 Nice to see a fellow ROM hacker here, in which PC definitely has a large, and also active section for you to look at! The Emulation section, of course! You can check out some of the games our awesome members have done, and beta-test a few of them still being progressed.

And there's also the tools, tutorials, as well as the advice you'll need to plan for your hack! You can also get people to help you out, if you ever need any help. :3

We have a Shipping Debates discussion here as well, located in the Pokemon Anime section...just don't uhh... troll :P It's against the rules & stuff. xD But anyways, have a fabulous time here at PC! If you ever need help getting around the forums, you can always send me a message! ^_^

Hi and welcome aboard, Ocean! You seem to be a very serious person, but I could be wrong! I'm also a hacker and had just started hacking a few months ago so I'm still an amateur, but thanks to the help of tutorials and the tools needed in order to make a hack and of course to start out, I eventually learned! So, I doubt it if you wouldn't. Basically, everything that you will find here is pretty useful! Plus, you could always ask the help of our fellow PC hackers if you ever have any questions especially when it comes to scripting! :)

I noticed that you don't like things that are related to Ash, how come? Why do you hate him? I'd really love to know, this is like my second time encountering someone who doesn't like Ash, and the first one was quite intimidating. ^^:;

There's a lot of PC members who actually loves Dawn, including me. And I believe I just saw a club about Pearlshipping before, and there were a lot of members. But don't worry, we completely understand why don't you like 'em and try to avoid to get into arguments and troubles, I mean it just wouldn't make any sense and it would be better if everything is just calm and within the flow~

I'm pretty sure you will make a bunch of friends here, as you keep on interacting with members on discussions, chatrooms and yeah. I doubt it if you couldn't make any friends at all! PC is pretty nice and is definitely happy to have you here on board!

Don't forget to give the rules a look before you do something risky! It's also best if you will ask a staff member if your not sure about what your gonna do, I'll also happily help if you have any questions regarding the whole forum. PC is huge so it might be confusing at first, but as you keep on exploring, you'll get eventually used to it! With that being said, have a great time and see you around! :D

No! Ash rules! I just hate Iris, and dislike Dawn, for various reasons. Misty is the first and best companion IMO.

I seem to have given you both somewhat the wrong impression. Don't worry, I don't break the rules, I just won't get into a conversation about pearl/negaishipping. If I am dragged into one though, I will troll. It doesn't happen all too often.

As for "serious", IDK, I try to be grammatically correct in all of my posts (other than the occasional acronym) and don't really use smileys much, which tends to give the impression of formality, but I'm not a particularly serious person, it's just the way I speak and write, though nor am I particularly outgoing.

As for the shipping debates section... I'd probably best keep clear of that...

Welcome to the forums, OceanEmbers, huh? Whatever it is, I think you might like the Emulation section when it comes to hacking needs. :) I think you should also give other parts a try, too - I came here for Pokémon and ended up also getting interested in other stuff.

I have been playing the games, since, like, forever. ^.^ It's been a long time and way...
