Welcome to PC, piefishroxs! As Sheep said, we have places for trading and battling where you can link up with lots of other members so hopefully you'll enjoy those if that's up your ally.
Sheep also recommended the X & Y section's Friend Codes thread if you're looking to add stuff for the Friend Safari. There's a good little catalog of members and their safari contents so hopefully you can find the Pokemon you're in need of. Hopefully you can make some new friends along the way because there's a lot of awesome people here.
Either way, you'll enjoy everything we have here. Have a great time with us!

You'll find plenty of people on here to play Pokekmon with, whether it's competitive battling, trading or even the TCG that's your thing; we've got plenty of resources and tutorials (plus helpful members, of course!) to help you ease your way into things gently and with minimal confusion. People are fairly approachable on here; don't be shy if you want to talk to people that first time, get out there and get involved, and pretty soon you'll have made plenty of friends~
