As said... I'm new here o.o I been looking for a good pokemon forum since PokemonCrater went down which... was a long... time... ago o_O So anyway, you can call me Kar, I'm 16 and still play pokemon, frankly I don't see a problem with that. Yet I don't watch the series anymore, I like the first seasons. Yay for classics ^^ I own the versions: Yellow, Blue, Gold, Crystal, Emerald, FireRed and Diamond ( Now if only I had wi-fi XD ) In all honesty I found this place while looking up how to make a ROM hack. I haven't gone through it all but the place looks fun and stuff X3 So many people, lol. So yea, thats all I got besdies... well, Hi XD

I Welcome you to PC! I'm sure you will not be disappointed with what we have to offer. We have many people here that love pokemon just as much as you do, and we can also help you with your ROM hacking as well.

XD Funny how searching some (random?) things can lead to awesome finds. I don't see a problem with your age, either. Not to mention many members of this forum are even older than you, so you're not alone in that regard. ;D Quite the collection of games too, my Gold and Crystal... well, unfortunately, their internal batteries died, and my Diamond is in shambles. Snap, I have to wait for Platinum. DX Hah.

@Aura - Thank you X3 I think I gotten a ROM editing thing from her, haven't tried it yet. I've got the name of my towns ready. They're beta names except for the place where you get the Frozenfire badge ( 8th ) , called Meteora town. I have a town made of it, though I looks kind of basic ^^; But I prefer basic towns and all. Not those crazy large ones o.o

There is absolutely nothing wrong with playing Pokémon at the age of sixteen.
(Actually, there really isn't anything wrong with playing Pokémon at any age...)

Take my word for it, you're going to find a lot of members who have the same opinion of the Pokémon anime that you just stated. In fact, I completely agree with you as well. The first season of Pokémon was more natural and zany; it gave you great emotions. It seems a little hackneyed now, but then again that's what one gets when the target audience is a little low...

Let me guess, you put these words in google:
ROM
Hack
Pokémon

Yeah, I would say that would bring up a bunch of spidered pages from the Pokécommunity. xD
(Don't worry, Karmarsi; the magical power of google brought most of us here!)

Lol, nothing wrong with playing pokemon at 16 (Actually I wouldn't know) but I don't see a problem with it. You've found the right place if your looking for a good pokemon forum, this place is awesome. Well I'm sure I'll be seeing you around, have a great time and read the rules (and for that matter follow them).
