Newbie who fell for an inaccurate preview of Sapphire/Ruby

I read on some site that Ruby/Sapphire allowed for more than one game to be saved per cartridge. So, I told my boys that we could each have a game on the Ruby I purchased---only to discover how false it was.

So, my 7 year old has a game on my cartridge and the rest of us don't. :disappoin Anyone else see this inaccuracy reported anywhere?

Anyway, this is my first day here. Seems like a nice place.

Ah, tough luck dude, never heard of it myself though, I just asumed that it would be the same as the other games

Nope, the only other Poke game I had played was Crystal, so I'm pretty new to the GB/GBA games. I thought it was believeable since it was on GBA not GB.......grrrr! Haven't the money to go buy another......

This originated when the Ruby and Sapphire ROMs came out in Japanese, and there was an ?extra? option on the main screen. People took this as a ?second file? and though it had two. At least I believe that?s how it started. ^_^;
