I've just joined here. Site seems really cool. In the past few years I started playing Pokemon again when I found out I could play them on my phone and computer. I'm really interested in trying to create a Pokemon hack. I'm sure it will be an epic fail, but I'm curious to see if I can do it and really just learn about all it takes. Any tips and tools to use that could help me out would be greatly appreciated.

Hahaha if you keep trying I'm sure you'll make some good progress. :( It's hard but worthwhile in the end. Never tried making a hack myself but I'm sure it feels awesome when you finally have something that's ready for publication and start getting feedback. Welcome to PC and good to meet you, DudeMan!

Check out the Tools, Tutorials & Resources forum for guides to help you along the way, they even have a starting out directory pinned at the top of that forum which should hopefully help you out. There's also the Beginner's Lounge for many other more technical questions. Much luck and have an amazing time!

Just like Sheep and Google2.0 said just keep trying. Hope I can play or test it. I don't hack, just play them. Like I say to my latin friends "Si puedes dar un paso, pronto empezarás a correr!" If you can take a step, soon you'll start to run. Sooner or later you'll get the control, go Dudeman!!

Well yeah, fortunately you can check out the ROM Hacking section here to learn all you can about ROM Hacking, so you're more than welcome to check that out, as well as ask the members here if you have any questions or concerns! Most importantly, don't give up! There are plenty of things you can learn about ROM Hacking, which does seem tough, but once you pick it up, all will be awarding!
