4th Gen Newmoon Island Darkrai Capture Speed?

Nah man. Never really bothered with it since I'm not into competitive battling.
 
Damn well me neither man but i love this pokemon and i want him to be perfect so if anyone is willing to do it for anything from the game plz let me know.
 
Yesterday was my greatest Pokemon day ever. My team on Platinum was infected by Pokerus and on Diamond I managed to Void Glitch (completely accidentally, I wish I knew how I did it T_T) to Newmoon. Bad thing was Darkrai wasn't there!!!!

So it went like this

1) I walk to where Darkrai should be
2) Darkrai isn't there
3) I shoot myself in the forehead.
 
Mine started out well, but ended up rather anticlimatic.

Basically, I found a shiny Darkrai, and expected a long, drawn-out battle. After paralyzing it, and False Swiping twice, I caught it with three Dusk Balls :\

But at least it's shiny, and IV-wise it's pretty good. A 31 Speed IV is better than 31 Sp. Atk any day :P
 
I lost my copy of Platinum. TT -TT
...If I hadn't, though, I would have sent over one of my three Master Balls from Diamond and caught it all anti-climaticlike (I need all the Pokeballs I can get for Mesprit).
 
I had a shiny Darkrai, so I just got this one for the heck of it. But I retaught my level 100 Marowak False Swipe, he used it and then I put out a seeping inducing Pokemon with a Quick Claw, put Darkie to sleep and then I threw 5 Ultra Balls at it and caught it

One word my friend: RNG. That's how we get them. I'll show you. Without hacking, I'll get a Timid Darkrai with the IVs: 31/31/31/31/31/31
Well... once I get through my other Platinum.
 
Good job on Shiny Darkrai, glace :) But I've heard it's harder to trade off shiny events if they're in a masterball? That may just be me. Idk. Also, good job to everyone else who did it really fast. The 2 quickball thing by MiniEggs is pretty funny imo.
 
i just threw about 200 pokeballs until i finally got it...

Chrono, I have 5 Movie 07 Darkrais on my Pearl, but this is a totally different event, which is why I bothered to get my National, see Cressellia, and waste 10 minutes on the initial event for it before Sept. 13. lol

Raging Lucario: Very nice. Pokéballs just look a lot nicer than Ultra Balls to me :)

Good job to whomever else wasted a Master Ball on him. It was an incredibly easy capture.

Mespirit was so easy it only took me 2 Dusk balls at half life O.o

It took three tries to get the right nature,and many more tries to actually catch the blasted thing, but it pretty much went down as:

PORYGON used Tri-attack!
DARKRAI fainted!

DARKRAI fainted!

PORYGON used Discharge!
Critical hit!
DARKRAI fainted!
*reset*
PORYGON used Discharge!
Critical hit!
DARKRAI fainted [from laughter]!
*Twelve resets later*
*ding*
*Dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun dun dun dun!*
"... ...Relaxed nature! Gah!"
*slams head against wall*
*Many more resets later mixed with tears and sweat*
*Dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun dun dun dun!*

And that's how it happened. The Dusk Ball complements Darkrai perfectly.
