    A lot of things are popping up on the world of Pokemon Go. I know we're still anticipating the arrival of Gym revamping and trading/battling between our peers. But as Niantic developers accepted a Webby for Best Mobile Game of 2017, Archit Bhargava, the Senior Product Lead for Niantic stated the following: "This summer will be legendary."

    This has gotten a lot of Pokemon GO players, like myself, wondering...what's gonna happen during the summer?

    This is where you come in! What do you think is gonna happen this summer which was said to be "Legendary?" Are you hoping for bigger and better updates? New Pokemon? Discuss with me and we can hope for the best as Summer rolls around very soon!

    Maybe they'll do a kind of roaming Legendaries event like in the main games? The Bird trio and the legendary dogs are infamous for running away after all! I don't know how they could implement that without creating frustration however. Having a Pokémon flee from you, especially after just one Pokéball, makes me pretty salty. They could implement a berry that makes the Pokémon asleep, or just less likely to flee.
    I just hope it's not location based, because a lot of players can't afford to go someplace famous just to catch a legend Pokémon.
     
    'Legendary'... maybe they mean that literally. =p I'd love to actually encounter some legendaries, even if it's super duper rare and they're roaming like Soapy mentioned.. I mean, at least let me encounter Articuno once, I'm on team mystic for gods sake!! That and trading is what I'd love to see.
     
    for niantic's sake they need to make them quite accessible to get the casual gamers back imo
     
    I'm thinking it means the legendries will be available, I think they have referenced them becoming available at some point in the future before.
