4th Gen Nintendo DS and game set

I was not wite sure where to put this I hope that this is right. Feel free to move it if not.

Anyway, when you first get on to GTS it says that your ds and game will be considered a set. Does that mean that you can't use a diffferent ds to go wifi ever?
Because I am thinking about getting a new one, and was just wondering if that would be a problem.

Wrong forum. Go to Diamond and Pearl. The big one. And uh, any DS can use Wi-Fi as long as there is a Wi-Fi capable game and they have an adapter or connector or router.

You can use a different DS/Game combination but you'll have to reset your friend code and get your friends' codes again too. For the GTS, it doesn't really matter. Changing the set only effects your friend code.

You don't need to reset everything anyway if you still have your DS at the moment you get another one. There's a thing in the DS to transfer all your Wi-Fi info to another DS. Really you could try reading the booklet.
