No candy from hatching pokemon?

It seems whenever I hatch eggs at the same time and get the same pokemon twice in succession there isn't any extra candy. For example today I hatched 9 10k eggs and at one point had two Oddish's one after the other, the first egg gave me around 20 candies to get up to 77 candy in total and the second egg gave me nothing and I was still on 77. This has also happened a few times before with different pokemon, anyone else have this problem?

I'm not sure; I might have. I personally don't pay too much attention to these things, and let candies pile on their own.

You should be able to get candy from hatched eggs, no matter what. However, the app has the tendency to show you how much stardust and candy you get from hatched eggs for one second and disappears when you least expect it. You are still getting candy for your Pokemon, it's just hardly noticeable.

Eggs that hatch simultaneously combine the amount of Stardust you get. Same with candy if you somehow manage to hatch the same species.

If you time it just right, you can actually see the hatched Pokémon in your Pokémon list prior to the hatching animation. I've done this before by transferring a hatched Pokémon before the animation, prompting the hatching animation to trigger and freeze the game because technically the hatched Pokémon no longer exists.

If you pay close enough attention to your Stardust count before and after hatching, it should be obvious you gained.
