I did not even know there were a rule like that O.o
So, I think it's there for a reason, so no newbie/n00b would come and link to lots of different places (not always good places) =S
 
We added that for a reason, so no it's not dumb. It's to put a stop to people joining and going "Hey, join my forum. Here's the link" or the ads like "Get a free PSP, CLICK HERE".
If you want to post your link then make the 15 posts. Deal with it because it's not changing.
 
If we didint have that rule there would be so many spammers on here no one would be abile to stop them, my brother is one of those people and that rule alone stoped him from overtaking this site with his group =/ if we didint have that rule there would be to many spammers and this place would fall in one day. I know the rule is possably anoying, but maybe posting more would get us to know you enough to go into your links without the expectation of a trojen on the other end^^; This also makes advertisers stop from looking moraly wrong as well =D and helps the community, I think we should keep it . And also you just made your 16th post o.o so you really dont need to worry about this subject anymore ^^ It's fairly easy to go with this rule.
 
Fifteen posts? I mean, I thought people complaining about the 25-character limit and such had problems...but this...wow...I'm not trying to be mean, but this is astounding. Just to add to what other people have said, as a warning to anyone who wants to bypass this rule, don't spam to get fifteen posts. We'll notice.

The title sounds like what someone says when they're being arrested at a legalize marijuana riot <_<;

A the risk of sounding like a crawler, I'd just like to say that I don't really think that rule is dumb. It is really annoying when people send you PMs saying; "Hey! Join my Forum!". And fifteen posts isn't that much. The rule was also probably made so that people wouldn't join this Forum just so they could advertise.

it's a safety thing to help protect you, the member, from spam and exploit links and NOT designed to make members get 'x' amount of posts before they can do anything..
see it as such and just wait till you have over 15 posts to post a link.
 
o_o Seems like he did, but he's starting to really um... Make me causious... making 16 posts and then making them mostly spam and not being around all day today questions if this guy really wants to be a member and if he was actualy going to advertise for someone.. or themselfs. Is there a way to keep a eye on sertan people... Sounds formiluar to a jip that happened at PokemonMasters..Nine days and that was that for PMD.

lol XD to lait, thats alot like my brother but this is more of a sign that he possibly still lurks o_o can somebody DO something about him? It's a dangerus thing that may be going on wether this guy meens it or not -__- I can see it now, Lushie and Goatsie images everywhere and a guy with a baby in his butt. some girl with her boobs eaten off and some strang thing about viagra being good for kids.A kid drinking naked from a goat and some guy taring Kirby a new one... SPAM USA! oO;
I hope that didint disterb anybody, but that IS what you can expect from this if he happends to be realited to my brothers clain of the LUELinks.

But yeah~ that funny little rule is there mainly because back some year ago, I got a lot of PMs of wackos telling me to join their stupid forums :/
 
Mwar... personally I think it should be bumped up higher, 'cause not all spammers are too impatient to find 15 non-spam posts they can make and then give us links to crap we really don't need to see -_-

So, does the URL rule apply to PMs too? o.o
Because the character rule doesn't I think.

I think the 15 post=link rule is a great rule! I mean, common people, it doesn't take months to post 15 times! I also helps catch a spammer, because he could post 15 posts of spam just to get a link in. It could also help a member get to know PC and PC rules too, right? So he doesn't actually put a bad link when he has 15 posts.....I'd be suspicious if someone posted lots of links before they even had 15 posts. Because it takes at leas 100 posts to get used to PC...
