Reflect is a good and useful move overall, but don't worry if you accidentally deleted it. You can still get by without it!

Reflect and its counterpart Light Screen cut damage in half for five turns. Its not foolproof though so keep that in mind but if you want to use it as a means to buy time to power up with moves like Double Team or Swords Dance, it really does help a lot. Its not the end of the world though as playthrough's don't necessitate having it.
