Yup...

I don't really see the point in having this thread open. Having members list who they think is the most helpful and respectful just doesn't seem all that fair, much less nominating people for... whatever is going on in your mind.

PC had a system called Member of the Month for years and it became nothing more than a popularity contest. This is no different. And in my book, popularity contests are pointless. Much like this thread, unfortunately. Now... if you were to make a new one asking who's the most helpful person you know and why you feel that way about them it would be more appropriate. But a nomination thread for the most helpful and respectful PC member is silly. Everyone is helpful in this community in their own way. You don't need someone to nominate you for that in a second rate contest to clarify that.
