    Hi everyone!

    Thurea here. I've been playing Pokémon since 1999, but this is actually the first time I've ever joined a Pokémon forum.

    My hobbies include gaming, jewelry making, archeaology and history. Favorite Pokémon game of all time is Pokémon Crystal.

    I definitely have high nostalgia on Pokémon Crystal. That takes back some memories. While it's nice to have HeartGold and SoulSilver, nothing beats good ol' Crystal. :P
     
    Aw Man, Crystal was the best! I used to play that game for hours upon end. To this day it remains my favorite entry in the Pokemon series. I also love archaeology and history! That's fun stuff.

    Oh I LOVED playing Crystal! I still have it and I believe it still works. Do you have an Etsy since you make jewelry because I would love to see your work.

    Nice to meet you too, Thurea! I didn't get into Pokemon foruming until 2010 or so so I consider myself a pretty "late bloomer" in that regard, aha. But in the end it really is never too late. :) All that matters is that you're here now! Welcome to PC~

    By the way though, Crystal is absolutely amazing. The second gen was one of the most addicting and stands as one of my favorites today, though X and Y are looking very promising as well. Pokemon is amazing in general - it has so many great aspects that are all addicting, and you can discuss 'em all here. So make sure to stick around as you'd miss out on a whole lot if you were to leave. Best to post around and make friends, right? Right!

    Crystal was so amazing. The reason why it's my favorite is completely nostalgia related - that, and the fact that I was finally able to play as a girl :D I remember buying the game, even though I didn't have the money to get a GBC. When I finally got one, it was all the good stuff from G/S plus that little extra. Amazing <3
     
    I was a fan of Pokemon from the time it started but I felt I got too old for it after a certain point so I quit until Christmas time last year.

    Anyways, welcome. Not really often I see someone taking an interest in history. Is it just history in general or are you talking about a certain kind? (World, State, etc.)
