They used to have free hosting? ;_; I wish I'd got some.... but I basically leech off you anyway Gweggy~
 
I DO leech off you, because when I decide to steal your space I use way more than that free package XD :P

BTW, don't forget to put that in the mail for me :P

And you could make me a good layout.... hmm...


I say that we both get a job and then buy a dedicated server together. Then we could sell hosting and we'd become rich :D
 
I'd love that, but where are we going to get jobs that pay that much? I have 25 contact hours for uni, which balloons out to about 50 hours when you include homework/review/preparation time, and I'm a member of 5 clubs/societies (one of which I'm running for committee on) and starting another one. Not great for jobs :P
 
You see, however, we get jobs and save up for... a year's worth of a server.

Then we buy the server and we get paying customers. Eventually, we'll be making profit via customers. :D
 
-_- How much does a year's worth cost? *wonders if I could get paying customers for making websites* (every time I try the band I'm making it for breaks up before they pay me but after I've finished the site)
 
A full year... about $1500 (Or about $2000 AUD) :P

Yeah.... let's see, if we can charge AUD$200 for a website (which is what I usually charge) that's only 10 sites, or 5 each... we could have a go....

So you make good websites, and I'll be there to purchase/administor the server. Of course, you get 1/2 the profit. =3

Shall the base URL be JK.net or RyuX.net?
 
I hate to break up the party, guys, but Greg, that hosting is more expensive than Steve's. O.o
I get more than that for free. Don't you think $10 a month is a LITTLE steep? o.o
 
For the host? Let's think of a whole new name for a new company ^^

Because JK is YOURS and RyuX is MINE :P

(that reminds me, I'm writing the RXN newsletter mailer, do you and Vande want to all share the newsletter? if you do, I'll add user accounts for you two)
