I Always find myself coming back to this community to read around and have some fun looking at sprites and roms. I recently wanted to work on some hobbies that I never get a chance to do. So I decided to sign up.

I have a storyline that I am interested in writing and working on for a rom hack of FireRed. Which I believe will prove to be hard work.

I also want to start learning how to sprite, for future projects and well pokemon sprites tend to be more open.

Thanks for having me around. I look forward to working with the community.

Welcome to the PokeCommunity, Xelucard! You won't regret signing up here, as well as coming back to this community. We have a lot for you to explore, and many ways to contribute. :)

I can agree that hacking a FireRed ROM is hard work, but you should be persistent and have some perseverance when doing so. Doing do, and maybe in the future you can finally show off your ROM Hacking work. :) You can also learn how to sprite, as well as have a gallery here at the Pixel Art section. Many times, the sections holds a few contests. You should try them out! :)

Anyways, have an amaaaazing time here, and have fun Hacking & Spriting! I'm sure you will. :) Guess I shall see ya around, right? :)

Definitely will see me around, thanks so much for the warm welcome. I will check out all the sections and see how I can get started. Take Care.

Hey bud, welcome to the community!

ROM hacking can definitely be hard work, but the important thing to always remember when taking on a big hobby project is to just have as much fun as possible. If you aren't enjoying yourself, you probably wont be interested in continuing it. :P

Have fun, and see you around the community! Hope to see your hack in the Hacking section soon.

Thanks Cello for the reply and it is true, the only reason one sticks to things is the interest. I am interested in it, due to me wanting to go into the field of game developer.

I wanted more projects to open my mind and most of all to practice.

Hi there and welcome to PC! As everyone else has mentioned it's tough but if you enjoy it it'll be worth it in the long run. I'm working on my own Rom hacks and it's getting more difficult, but in the end I know i'll be happy with it. Anyways hope you projects go well, hope you have much success and hope to see you around! :)

Thanks Brickbusterx, I will do my best, good luck on your projects as well.
