Issue: Notifications, Messages, and Me Links Issue

I am using the Garchompin theme and suddenly there is a light blue bar at the top, where you find the home button, all the way to the Me and messages area. i can click on the messages, but when I click on the person I want to reply to, it reloads the page, almost as if that link isn't there, and I am refreshing the page by hitting the area above the welcome message. I can post a screenshot if you guys want, but is anyone else having this issue? How can I fix it? Thanks.

Note: Because of this glitch I can not change my settings or even log out.

I have this problem too. :/ It caused me to have to switch my theme for a while, but I really want to go back to Garchompin since it's the only dark layout I like. D:

So if I move my mouse in a certain way and have a fast reaction time, then I can get lucky and click the link. But its still broken. :/

Not sure what happened to that style, it didn't use that bar previously. Something must have gotten updated along the way. Unfortunately there's not much I can do about it right now, perhaps one of the staff who are looking after styles would be kind enough to look into it on my behalf. Sorry about this, but it's out of my control.

Thanks! I can't change any of the settings because of it, so changing my theme is not an option.

At the bottom center of the page is a style selector if you want to change it there as well.

I dont know, but not receiving notifications was not part of my issue- it was just accessing them.

Actually it's not, it depends on the style you use, mine is in the left corner to change it.

Incidentally, what browser were you using?

If that was for me, I use "blossom shower" when (normally) I click here it tells me when some one has posted in a thread I have posted in, but it has not done that in a couple of days now.

I was mentioning it with regards to the style mentioned by BadSheep, but yeah, it's usually somewhere in the bottom for almost all styles (Or is there any exceptions to this rule at all?).

I was using Garchompin'. I switched to Yggdrasil, which is pretty much the same thing, just different art. Same set up and it works.

I made some modifications to ensure Garchompin' inherits PC's stylecode, but clearly that's broken some things. I'll be on it.

Nab the bar from Yggdrasil, update link colours (if needed) and it should be good to go. If you're feeling motivated you could try make Multi-Quote work. I remember trying to make the buttons using CSS, but the JavaScript wasn't playing nicely. The new userbars also have padding issues, if you're feeling extra productive!
